Putting the parts together can be a bit of a problem but tiny lines and arrows are marked on the body parts of each sonic. if you are a young timelord it might be a good idea to get your older time Lords to help you put the parts together. It is a great set to have and if you have the trans temp sonic you can swap parts with that one as wellBe the doctor, build the sonic and save the universe.

it's a very clever, very creative toy, for children or adults fans as well ! you really can create your own screwdriver, as if you were a doctor, or reproduce one of the 3 last doctors from 2005 to 2010 series !! bright, fantastic !

As the latest "must have" Dr Who toy, my 11 year old was desperate to get his hands on this new set. It was dissappointing then that it lasted less than half a day after arriving. The idea is that kids can make and remake their own versions of the screwdriver, so it will be pushed and pulled apart a lot. While the overall parts seem to handle this well the main core that lights up and makes the noises, stopped working after only a few hours play on the first day. Amazon were their usual brilliant selves and replaced it very promptly and the second set seems to be holding up OK after a few days play. However this was a fault with the last new Doctor's screw driver & we returned 2 before we got one that worked properly. We were told that there had been a huge amount of returns of that version and they must have been a faulty batch. Let's hope the same isn't true of this set. Having said all that, my son hasn't put it down and loves it.

Not very impressed. Very short life span as far as attention goes. It doesn't do much and isn't a collectors piece. I would say dont bother

With these you can assemble a custom tool that suits the mood of the day. Mix and Match is what you can do with these parts. Add with it the transtemporal sonic and you have many many more options. haben die screwdriver als geschenk bestellt und ich war mir ehrlich gesagt auf basis der produktbeschreibung nicht ganz sicher, was kommen wird... wir waren restlos begeistert - der glückliche blick der beschenkten sagte mehr als tausend worte!die 3 screwdriver, die im paket dabei sind, lassen sich in einzelteile zerlegen und so zu einem neuen screwdriver zusammenstellen. lichteffekt und sound sind genau, wie wir es und vorgestellt haben – sind den halben tag in der wohnung herumgelaufen und haben den screwdriver auf alles mögliche gerichtet. es hat einfach nicht aufgehört spaß zu machen :)natürlich ist alles aus plastik, aber für den preis hatten wir nichts anderes erwartet. die details sind schön gestaltet, aber wer eine sehr hochwertige replik erwartet wird nicht so zufrieden sein wie wir, die ein nettes spielzeug erwartet haben und positiv überrascht wurden.ist schon eine zeit her, dass wir es geschenkt haben (juni) und die batterie hält immer noch. also auch da absolut keine klagen.tolles geschenk für verspielte whovians!
