Anchor Hocking 77918 Fire-King Salt Dip with Lid, Glass

I have really enjoyed using this salt jar. I like that it is clear and not busy. Simple is good! It is sturdy and the lid fits well.

What can I say. It's a good solid heavy glass bowl. With a lid that can be used to hold coarse salt and sit next to your stove. Not too complicated. The lid sits flat on the bowl so that's a good thing. Though not airtight it's certainly good enough for its purpose. And the convenience of having salt right there next to the stove so you can quickly grab a pinch is the way everyone should set up their kitchen.And the bowl is embossed with the word SALT just in case someone thinks it's something else and tries to snort it or put it in their coffee.Everyone needs one.Everyone that is except the sad robotic people who eat everything from the microwave. I know many of them and they make rice from a microwaved bag. Why why why! he said sobbing. Rice is so easy. A microwave is for heating up leftovers. It is not for cooking food.

This is a good size and shape for a salt cellar. It's big enough to pinch salt out of it comfortably but doesn't take up too much space on the counter. It looks just like the picture. The lid sits loosely on top. It wouldn't be good for moisture but it's easy to remove and keeps crumbs out of the salt.

Nice size for using fingers or measuring spoons. My salt container sits on the counter so important for me to have an attractive look AND easy to use. Lid larger than opening so lifting and replacing lid is secure and again, easy to use.Heavy weight. Would definitely recommend.

I love that the mouth of the jar is large enough to get your fingers in the to get the right amount of salt. My son and I have been using this for everything now, instead of a salt shaker. It gives you more flexibility to add just the right amount of salt.Only thing I wish is that it had a spoon but our fingers have been fine for now.It comes with a lid, even though that is not pictured.
