There is a nice weight to this product which, combined with a very grippy base, means this doesn't go anywhere when you're using it - so already off to a good start. The two spinners are very smooth to use, and the blade is super sharp - I accidentally cut myself on it when not paying attention, so be sure to use the built-in blade guard, which stays attached so you can't lose it. Overall, very happy with this purchase, and happy to recommend.

Was in the market for a tape dispense for brown parcel tape. I use a lot of it for parcels. Looked around and couldn’t find any that would fit brown tape. Saw this one and gave it a go. Works really well. It’s really heavy which is needed, when your pulling the tape to cut with the integrated blade it never moves. The blade is nice and sharp so cuts the tape perfectly. Super easy to install the tape. Saved me so much time. I bought another and now have 2. Would highly recommend.

This has to be the best tape holder ever. Sturdy and heavy duty. Its amazing. And best thing, is that it can either fit small gift wrap tape or large heavy duty industrial packaging tape. Definitely keep an eye out for the cutting blade on it. Caught my fingers a few times. It is sharp. But love the fact it has a guard for the blade.

Even though other reviewers had said so, I was not convinced that the PRO-series BD50 Heavy Duty Tape Dispenser could be used one-handed. But it is true. The combination of the weight and the neoprene base, makes the tape dispenser rock-solid. Meaning you can hold a box lid closed with one hand, while running off some tape with the other. The dispenser does not drag or slide at all. Looking at the pictures before purchase, I thought the way the dispenser would work, is the cutter blade cover would be spring-loaded, and you would slide it open with the tape you were wanting to cut. But it does not work like that. The blade cover is a manual affair, that you slide open before using the dispenser, and slide back over the cutter blade when you are done. The middle raised plastic moulding is slightly proud of the cutter blade, so the packing tape sticks to it when you cut a piece of tape, and stops the tape end falling back onto the tape reel and getting 'lost'. It is such a simple idea, but it works beautifully. The spindle wheels are split 50/50. So you could also use the dispenser with two standard 'Sellotape' type tape reels. Recommended.

I didn’t expect to feel anything about a tape dispenser, but here we are. I’ve been using this Pro Series BD50 for nearly four years in a reselling business, and it’s been used for thousands of parcels, daily packing, rushed evenings, cold mornings, heavy boxes, light mailers, the lot. It’s basically indestructible. The body is solid metal, not the flimsy plastic you usually end up replacing every year. It stays put on the desk, doesn’t slide around, and the weight actually helps when you’re pulling tape quickly. The blade is still properly sharp after years of use, which surprised me more than anything else. Tape feeds straight, cuts clean, and doesn’t snag or wander off at an angle. Once you’re used to it, you stop thinking about it, which is exactly what you want from something this dull. Loading new rolls is simple and it handles wider tape without complaint. I’ve never had it jam, loosen, or feel like it’s wearing out. Is it exciting? No Is it cheap? Probably not compared to lighter options Would I buy it again without hesitation? Absolutely If you pack a lot of parcels and want something you’ll forget about for years (in a good way), this is it.

Cooles Teil, es wiegt etwas mehr und ist somit mit einer Hand zu bedienen. Robust, da es aus Metall ist und richtig scharfe Klinge, also sehr gute Abschnitte.
