ILNP Magnetic Wand - Dual-Ended Strong Magnet Wand for Nails, Nail Magnet Tool for Cat Eye and Velvet Aura Effects, Magnetic Nail Polish Tool

I took a chance when I first bought ILNP nail polish. I had read a few good things about it and people really seemed to be impressed with the quality of it, saying that it lasted quite a while. Then I read about the magnetized colors that they had and I quickly grabbed a few. I was shocked how well this Polished held up. Even having two dogs and two cats in the house and living on my own and having to do all the cleaning by myself, these magnets work wonders on setting your polish. Then you just have to finish everything off with a good topcoat.

If you're on the fence at all, just order!!! I'm 50 yrs old & have never really cared for any polish on my nails but am in love with the Velveteen!!! This color is absolutely perfect!! It dries quickly if you do thin layers & covers well. I didn't have a top coat when I painted them and even after rough use, they still look great! Still trying to figure out the magnetic wand but even without knowing how, I'm so pleased with this polish & color!!! Will be ordering more colors!!!! The box it was sent in will hold 4 bottles. Wonderful packaging! 100% satisfied!!

I purchased this to use with my magnetic nail polishes. It seems to have a fairly strong magnet and is encased in a sturdy plastic wand. It works as intended if you paint a nail and then immediately hover the large magnet above the nail for 30 to 60 seconds. That's all you need to create the lovely holographic effect. I found I needed to use it for each coat to get a deep effect. The small circle does not attract the metal shavings but repels. So you can use it to push color. I have not found it to be as useful, but probably because I don't quite know how to use it for its intended purpose.

Takes a little getting used to, generally works well, I use it with the ilnp nail polishes. My only complaint is I do wish the magnet was a little stronger, and that in order to get a cat eye effect, sometimes I have to hold it with the magnet side down, other times the "ILNP" side down; its kind of a guessing game of "what side and where do I need to hold this to get the cat eye effect" and I rarely get it right until I get to the second hand lol. However that might be more to do with the nail polish ingredients than the magnetic stick itself. Overall it's decent for the money but maybe at some point I will look for a stronger magnet. This one is fine for now.
