Herb Garden Starter Kit - 8 USA Culinary Herbs

Took longer than expected to germinate and grow. However everything planted grew. Cannot wait to try.

These never sprouted. Not a single one. I followed the directions and nothing. Total waste of money.

Beautiful collection of everything you would need to plant/grow your own herbs. But timing is also important, so consider that when purchasing the herbs…and then plant and enjoy!

The plastic pots are a reasonable size, but flimsy. Cute looking set, don't know how well the herbs will grow as it was a gift.

These are ok. Unfortunately the package had been opened prior and it was missing some saucers. Probably would not purchase again. The quality of the pots seems very cheap. But on the bright side the instructions were detailed and I made due with saucers I had. Some are sprouting but was disappointing that it wasn’t a full set.

Wanted this to work. Either the seeds were old and/or not stored well, or the "soil" (Coco coir) just didn't have the nutrients needed. Some seeds sprouted and immediately died a couple days later. Others sprouted and stayed tiny sprouts for weeks not growing. About 1/3 never sprouted at all. I didn't get a single herb worth using. The little pots with labels are simple, plastic, but nice and convenient, so I might reuse with real soil and seeds. But this whole kit just isn't the solution.

So it's been a while since I did a product review on here, but I thought it was worth the time to make one for this garden kit. Instruction booklet could walk an absolute newbie through the steps to cultivate their herbs and even teaches you a little about each one. I'm curious to see how the kelp mix aids in the process, as I've never used it before. The pots are pretty bland in style and color, bit that takes nothing away from the look since they all have a good construction and have a present ambiance to them. I just got done planting and will provide updated photos at a later time. TLDR: Absolutely worth the price and I'd recommend for anyone from a complete beginner or a seasoned veteran. Disregard the fact that only half of them have the provided sticker labels. I thought they weren't included but were, in fact still in the box. That's on me.

I got this for my 17-year-old son’s birthday since he’s been getting into gardening, and it made a really nice gift. The kit looks well put together with everything needed to get started. I’m not totally sure how the plants turned out yet, but the setup itself was great and he enjoyed putting it together.
