Nice and lightweight
So, I ordered a black and decker vacuum off of Amazon 9 months ago and it just turned off in the middle of vacuuming one day and decided to be done working. We have 2 big dogs and vacuum every other day if not daily. So, we cannot go without one. We used to get a vacuum at Walmart that would last quite a while, but I was looking for something less than $80 and maybe something we would like better and that is what led me to the black and decker. Since that one took a crap, I came on here to find something with better reviews and such. I came across this Eureka pretty quick and was quickly drawn to the over 7,000 reviews and the fact that it is lightweight and has an XL dust cup. After reading about the product and the reviews, I decided since it was on a great sale to go for it. We have had it only a few days so far, but it works like a champ. The pros for me are that it is very lightweight. I weighed the Eureka and my old one and there was just a 1 pound difference. The Eureka weighs about 11 pounds. I like that because I carry this up and down stairs to vacuum them and I can easily manage holding this. This sits higher so it is comfortable when pushing around. I like that it has the option to change from bare floor up to full carpet. One of the best parts is the XL dust cup. I showed a picture comparing my old one to this one and the size difference is huge. I love not having to empty it in the middle of vacuuming. While it is convenient to have the handle double as a wand extender, this was the one con I have found so far. When I vacuum using the wand, I like to hold the handle and pull the vacuum around with me and with the handle being in use that doesn't work well. Of course this is just a preference of mine. With all the vacuums we have had over the years we actually have some wand extenders we have fixed together and we just use that so we aren't overly bending over. I do wish the cord length was a bit longer. Of course that is just me being lazy and not wanting to change outlets often but when vacuuming the whole house, that is going to happen. When we got our old one, the cord was shorter than we were used to and had to get used to moving it a lot. While the Eureka can go a little further than our old one, it isn't much further. I still have to move outlets as much as before. I feel that it picks up things well both with the wand and being pushed around. It is easy to empty the dust cup and the filter is easy to get to and wash. I also don't feel it is extremely loud as I did read in some reviews. It sounds just as loud as any other vacuum I have ran before. So far I am pleased with my purchase and hoping to get some longevity out of it.

BEST one for the price!!
The vacuum cleaner that I didn't know I needed. I have a Hoover PetSmart vacuum cleaner which I had bought from FB marketplace. It does a great job because it cleans with water pumping (or so I thought). But since I got it from marketplace, the accessories were missing and it wouldn't pick up debris, just cleans dust. That's when I thought I will get a cheaper one for debris picking, just dry vacuum. And y'all can see what it did in the first use from the pics attached. I just don't have any words. It's AWESOME.

Overall, I love this vacuum.
Overall, I love this vacuum. It's lightweight; has powerful suction; long, retractable power cord plus the light is bright. Almost everything is at a level where I do not have to bend over to engage which saves on my back. Thanks Eureka.

This vacuum sure sucks! Wonderfully!
Eureka NEU182A PowerSpeed Lightweight Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner vs Shark Rocket Professional Side-by-Side Review Background: I recently had to replace a Shark Rocket Professional, because the suction seemed to have been almost completely lost. I was always happy up to that point with it, but as I’ll explain below, after having purchased the Eureka NEU182A PowerSpeed Lightweight Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner, I don’t miss it one bit. Since these are basically the only two vacuum cleaners I’ve owned in my adult life, I’ll be comparing them throughout this review. Weight: Winner Eureka NEU182A This is a very light weight vacuum. I have no issues moving it up and down the stairs to clean them. The shark is significantly heavier. Features: Winner – Shark Rocket Pro. As I mentioned above, I was always pleased with the Shark from the start and one of the reasons is that it tilts with very little effort, it seems to be slightly self-propelled, and it tilts low enough to go under my coffee table. To switch between upright mode and using the hose is a very easy process. The Eureka, however is the most basic model with no bells and whistles. I’m sure they make a comparable model to the Shark, but the one I got was basic. It doesn’t tilt very low, so to get under furniture you will have to move it. Though it is very light weight compared to the shark it is harder to push. In order to switch to using the hose you must shut it off, uncouple the hose from where it attaches to the brush roller assembly, then disconnect the handle and connect the hose to it. This was just one step for the Shark. The hose seemed to stretch farther for the Shark as well and I think the hose allowed more pivoting without kinking. Canister overall: Winner Eureka NEU182A The canister for this is a bit larger than the Shark’s. It also doesn’t have as many pockets to catch dust and dirt and hair on it as the canister for the Shark does. As a result, it’s easier to remove and empty. Cleaning Performance: Winner Eureka – By a land slide. The Eureka, though it is much lighter and cheaper, seems to have quite a bit of power over the Shark. It got my floor looking much cleaner with fewer passes. Noise: Winner Shark It’s not a huge difference in noise, but it is a difference. Cleanup: Winner Eureka – by a landslide. The canister for this is a bit larger than the Shark’s. It also doesn’t have as many pockets to catch dust and dirt and hair on it as the canister for the Shark does. As a result, it’s easier to remove and empty. The rollers on the Eureka seem to somehow be resistant to having hair and string wrap around them. When vacuuming with the Shark I had to clean the rollers by cutting the hair that managed to get wrapped around and pulling it off. This usually ended up being a pretty large pile. By contrast after I finished vacuuming for the first time in several weeks with the Eureka I was afraid to flip it over and look at the brush, but to my shock and amazement they were almost completely clean. The Shark’s rollers looked like they had started to grow hair of their own after the first use. Conclusion: Winner Eureka Eureka NEU182A The Eureka NEU182A PowerSpeed Lightweight Bagless Upright vacuum cleaner really sucks, thank goodness. It’s a great vacuum and will leave your floors clean. It’s light-weight and it did a great job on my stairs and furniture at removing animal hair. It is not a full featured vacuum, but it will get the job done. If you have physical restrictions or disability it may not be a good vacuum for you as it doesn’t get under coffee tables and is more difficult to push as it is completely unassisted. It doesn’t come with any attachments that allow you to reach very high, but you can buy attachments to allow this. Honestly the only two things I can Knock it for are that it doesn't feel super sturdy, which is a trade for being light-weight, and the fact that it doesn't lay all the way down to the ground.

I LOVE THIS VACUUM!!!!
We bought this vacuum when we lost our usual cleaning service to lockdown. I'm getting old enough that I can feel most of my joints when I move, and wanted something lightweight and easy to use--which my shopvac wasn't. I can't say how pleased I am with this vacuum! I think the most important thing about it overall is that whoever designed it actually used it--it's full of small, thoughtful features that make it a joy to use. But to start with the big things: --Suction power is great. The height of the brush roller on the front end is adjustable, from bare floor to high carpet, and between the brush and the vacuum this things does a great job deep-cleaning carpets, from tight/short-pile Persian rugs to handmade braided rugs to 20-year-old medium pile wall-to-wall. The front of the floor sweep is less than three inches high, so you can get under furniture/toe-kicks/etc. The brush depth adjustment is a big flat knob there on top of the front of the sweep, is easy to adjust, with solid, positive click-stop feedback at each of the half-dozen positions. --On stairs, it's a champ, mainly because it's incredibly light-weight, with a well-designed and carefully-placed handle that makes it easy to move from tread to tread. --Hair. We don't have pets, but we do have a couple of people in the household with very long hair, and a fanatic quilter who sheds bits of thread more than any dog I've ever had, and it does a good job picking up after them. Like any vacuum with a brush roller, if you turn the thing over and pull/cut out whatever gets wrapped around the spindle every few uses, you'll probably prolong belt/brush/motor life, as well as preserve its efficiency. Other things I like: --Emptying the dirt. Like most uprights these days, this machine uses a clear plastic cannister with a foam filter to protect the motor and keep fine dust from recirculating--no bags. To empty the cannister, you push one button conveniently placed at the top of the cannister and pull it off by a large handle. Hold it over (or, better, in) the trash, push a button at the bottom, and the bottom flips out of the way, dumping the contents. The foam filter at the top of the cannister is easy enough to remove and wash. I don't know how long the filter will last, but the material is not the flimsy foam rubber that you see, say, in cheap window air conditioner filters, but a slightly coarser, harder material that I've seen stand up to repeated cleanings in other applications. To my mind, the great thing about these cannisters is that if you accidentally scoop up loose change, you can usually see it sitting on top of the pile and fish it out. --Special tools. I love the way these work. There are three tools included with the basic unit (at the next price point up you get another tool, I think a slightly fancier surface sweep). They are conveniently placed around the body/handle of the upright--nothing to move out of the way to get at them. They're securely attached but easy to pop off, ditto for attaching to the vacuum. They attach to a hose that connects the motor/blower unit to the floor/brush sweep, usually draped over a hook on the back of the upright handle. You detach the hose (a simple pull) from the back of the floor sweep and there it is, ready to suck. You can attach tools directly to the hose or, if you want more reach, the handle of the upright comes off (again, you just push a button), adding about two feet more of reach, and a comfortable, sturdy handle. The hose goes into the top of the handle and the tool goes on the other end. With these, it's easy to get all the way under sofas, behind cabinets, etc., and control the population of dust bunnies. We have a lot of Victorian era furniture, and the brush attachment does a great job of getting the dust out of all the gingerbread. --The small touches. Take the power cord, for instance. It's a generous length, and there's a small plastic clip just below the handle on the back, which I believe is intended to hold the nearer length of the cord off the floor so you don't run over it all the time--thank you to the designer who put >that< in! To store, it coils between two prongs placed about two feet apart on the back of the upright, which isn't special but what is special is that the top prong rotates: to free the cord for use, rotate the top prong 180 degrees and the whole coil drops free. Love it! The controls (the handle release that allows the upright section to pivot back from the floor sweep, and the on-off switch) are both easy to get at with your foot, easy to tell apart, and separated well enough that you're not likely to mash one when you're going for the other. --Assembly, shipping: Easy to put together in under ten minutes, with clear instructions if you're the kind of person who reads instructions. It came in a sturdy carton, all materials recyclable, and despite the potential delays caused by the pandemic, it arrived (in perfect condition) in two days. All in all, I can't remember the last time I was so happy with a small household appliance. If its durability is on par with the rest of the quality I see here, I'm hoping it will last a long time. But even if it doesn't, the thing was such a bargain compared to everything else on the market that I won't feel abused even if it only lasts a year or two. Great job, Eureka!

Loud
Much louder than other Eurekas I have had in the past. Also does not turn as good as other versions. On the plus side suction power is higher than previous models. Not nearly as happy with this model.

The BEST 👌 POWERFUL vaccume 4/27/24
I looked at lots of vacuums and read lots of reviews. Did my research and took a chance This Eureka PowerSpeed NEU 180 sounded good, with lots of great reviews. I need something that will take care of pet hair and dust as we rent a house that has old shagg carpet thats very much old and the previous tenants " prob "had pets lol The bag less system is simple to use and super easy to empty, and does not require replaceable filters which is a plus. A lot of reviewers showed how much hair the vacuum got up after showing the old vacc and what it got up first. They were not kidding! It was not even compareable to what this beauty can do,! I ran the Eureka over a very small area in living room maybe 3ft total ? one time ! not multiple passes and the dust bin was nearly full of pet hair and dirt. See pics . It had only been a couple of days since I vacuumed with my old shark vacc that I thought was the best man was I wrong ! I use to sware by and love shark products .I am shocked at what was in the container. I am amazed! Shocked and Blown away ,! And discussed that this carpet was that dirty .( old tenants deff had pets ) I am a clean freak I vaccume and clean non stop every day . Also my 8 year old has asthma. Allergies to pet dander. This thing is light and easy to maneuver, gets under under the edges of furniture easily. It cleans right to the edge. Unlike any vacuum I ever had before, this is NOT noisy at all . No dust or particles in air from the vaccume . I can feel how powerful the suction is . The ease of dumping the dust container is also a big thing for me. Other bagless similar vaccs and my old shark vacc was a nasty dusty mess to empty. Dust particles from filter always in the air . Even after id clean the filter. Also very heavy. Also expensive! ! ! I paid a pretty penny for my shark and other bagless vaccums with thinking you get what you pay for right,? . Thats why I also was Skeptical about buying this vacc at less than 100.00 it was so inexpensive, but had great reviews . now I know why. Its amazing !!! 👏 I can't find anything negative about the Eureka. I am looking forward to vacuuming the rest of the house and picking up a ton of hair and grime from the previous tenants. The owners should have replaced this carpet years ago and didn't probably because of how durable shagg carpeting can be, but it grosses me out . I am so happy I went with reviews / my gut and bought this Eureka ( MaxSwivel Pro NEU350 with Pet Tool, Yellow ) vs shark or another expensive vacc . Some notes on things previous reviewers complained about: Some folks talked about the hole at the end of the handle, and that the hose was too short. They must not have gotten the instructions with theirs. The handle doubles as a wand that extends the hose so you can reach furniture, drapes, etc. The Owner's Use Manual that came with mine is great. Well Illustrated, thorough, and easy to understand. Another plus. Several people said the height adjustment did not work, and it either was too low and burned the carpet, or too high and wouldn't clean. I checked mine before using it, and seems fine no issues . I will say I just got this Yesterday but I unboxed it and used it today 04/27/2024 I will update if anything changes. I am on cloud 9 right now couldn't be happier ☺️ this is also the most detailed and longest review I have ever left! Buy The Eureka you will NOT be sorry!

JUNK - I Wish I'd Read the Reviews - DON'T BUY
I used this vacuum ONE time and it seemed to work. The next time, it was blowing dust something horrible. It's not picking up dirt - it's just moving it around. I thought I'd use the accessory hose, and it isn't picking up squat with that either. The button to start the vacuum is placed too high. I have limited mobility and I can't step that high to start it. I have to bend down all the way and start it with my hands. The button to retract the cord is placed even higher. Same thing - I have to bend over and push it by hand. When it's in the standing position, you have to step on the front of the vacuum to get it to lean back to push it around. It's really difficult to get it to let go, and it makes a popping noise like so loud it sounds like plastic breaking. I cant find any piece that's in the way to see why it won't let go. I tried using the height adjuster which didn't make any difference no matter what type of floor or carpet it was on. Same way with the suction strength on the side of the hose. That didn't make any difference either. It's really a cheap price and extremely light. You don't even get what you paid for. I wish I hadn't bought it at all. It's way too much bother to box it up and send it back - I didn't save the packing material so I'm stuck with it (well until I can haul it out to the garbage bin and afford to buy a new one - different brand). I don't even want to put it out on the curb for a free vacuum, because I don't want to wish that piece of junk on anyone else. It's to bad there isn't a choice for ZERO stars

EUREKA
I was amazed at how much it picked up the first time I used it. The suction is amazing. I live in a cold wintertime climate which means we get a lot of sand tracked in and it pulled up so much sand .. and I had just used my previous vacuum the day before. But be mindful of the 5 different power 1 - 5. I used 5 and it pulled out a carpet thread, (which I managed to crazy glue it back in) .. so I use 3 for carpet and one for flooring. Extremely easy to put together. It's a cinch to use each of the attachments.

Y no necesitas artefactos súper pros.

NOT for UAE!
This is a good item as reviews by others outside UAE. The voltage rating is 120V while UAE rating is 240v. Sellers should mention this in the description.
