Great quality, as you'd expect.
Great quality from Vic Firth, as you'd expect. If you use Electronic drums, nylon tips are recommended as the wood tips can splinter and damage your mesh heads. No complaints here, I love them. I've tried Pro Mark sticks; personal preference prevailed. Vic Firths for me.

Definitely buy these over Vic Firth's Nova series
Definitely glad I got another pair of these over the Vic Firth Nova Series. For a few extra pounds these are simply so much better. What are the main differences? Well, the one that's most prominent is the feel in the hand. The Novas have a very silky, cheap type of feel. These feel well, more like wood than the Novas ever did, and the texture in the hand resembles higher quality wood more than the Novas and this ultimately leads to a better grip. They feel better weighted and oddly somewhat lighter than the Novas I had too, which I for one am a fan of. Ultimately, the Novas are there for "B-grade Wood", and considering two pairs have broken on me in 7 months, one of these just in the past two weeks alone on my E-Drums leads me to question why it's not worth the upgrade.Anyways, I haven't had these long enough yet to tell if they will last, but I will be sure to edit my review if they break in the not too-distant future. Based on my experience over the past couple of days though, I'd recommend these.

Good sticks
Buy these regularly for my son who plays modern and rock drums. He has heavy use out of his sticks and prefers the nylon tips. He tells me that these are his favourites of the more reasonably priced sticks. Usually gets through a pair every 3 months or so.

Brilliant sticks. I am a Music student and need a good pair of sticks which don't keep on breaking quickly. The nylon tips give a perfect high pitched sound to cymbals, which I prefer to the dull tone of wooden tipped. Obviously sticks wear over time and will break eventually but these last the longest out of any sticks I have purchased.

Well Balanced and a Pleasure to Use
Great sticks. I favour Vic Firth due to quality and resilience. I play in a lot of rock bands, most frequently in an AC/DC tribute called AD/HD. The sticks take a lot of punishment and last well. The nylon tips last longer than wooden tips too, so if you're a big hitter these are good stick. Well balanced and a pleasure to use.

VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
I'm a drummer and after trying various drumsticks over the years find that these suit me best of all, they are very well balanced and durable hence regular purchases of the best offer at the time.

Très bonnes baguettes.
Le must des baguettes. Parfaites en toute situation. Usure normale de l'olive. Pas de casse intempestive. À recommander. Achat raisonnable.

25 years later, these are still the best
These take me back. My drum teacher told me to put my thumb over the flag, close my fingers, and rotate my wrists 45 degrees in. A quarter century later, I still sometimes find myself checking my grip that way.I’ve been through countless 5AN sticks over the years from Pro mark, Zildjian, Vater, and even Ahead (maker of the “unbreakable” metal drumstick—clad, incidentally, in highly breakable plastic sheaths.)Anyways, these are the best. They feel the best, and they are super durable.I play harder than basically any other drummer I have ever met, and I can get these to last, relatively.I used to buy pro mark by the brick. They were okay, but these are better.Whatever you do, just don’t ever buy a Zildjian drumstick. They make their electronic drum sets look good by comparison.
