Just Wholefoods - Organic Vegan Falafel Mix - 6x120g

This is one of the better mixes I have found. Perfect for when you do not have time to make from scratch and good as a base to jazz up.

I've made falafel from scratch and the time effort and ingredients used did not match how excellent this product is.I first used them in our camper van, really a doddle to make and so very tasty, initially I thought the amount before you make it in to patties or balls looked very little, I make 8 and share between 2 with big salad. They are very filling and totally adequate.I have used them many times and have several boxes in my cupboard for quick healthy meals.

for some reason I wasn't expecting 6 boxes all the same, so I gave half of them away. The mix is quite nice tho.

it is in fact very quick to prepare . excellent for times when you are in a hurry or have to preprare a meal at le last moment. It does not have the taste of a fresh houmous but very raccomanded any way.

Have stopped eating so much meat, but not keen on only veg and spuds, so have moved to falafel to fill the void. This product is great - really simple and quick to make into balls, and so tasty (particularly shallow fried in toasted sesame oil) that I don't have to add anything. Not that I'd know what to add anyway, but whatever, they make a great alternative to meat in any dish, hot or cold.

I’ve never had a falafel mix that you actually cook prior to frying and was a bit put off at first. But this mix is brilliant! It’s so worth the extra 5minutes prep time. It’s crunchy on the outside and soft and moist inside. Absolutely my new favourite.

Took this instant hummus on a multi day hike, but unfortunately it was really horrible. We followed the directions but the chickpea taste was overwhelming. To get a palatable taste we had to add so much water that it was way too runny to do anything with. I will admit we didn't have any olive oil or lemon juice (as the instructions state), but I struggle to see how these ingredients would have made it any better. We threw the whole lot in the bin!

I had a packet in the cupboard and tried it one day and really loved it and it was so easy to make. couldn't remember where I'd got it so I searched on=line and found I could get it through Amazon. It arrived very promptly and I'm passing packets to one or two friends.I
