Ahmad Tea Aromatic Earl Grey Tea - 500g Loose Leaf Tea

This tea is delicious, good quality, large leaves, no dust. My only complaint is not about the product itself, but its price on Amazon. If you are lucky enough to live near a Turkish Food Centre (TFC) you can buy the same 500g pack for £6 less. That's £3.45 for 500g, instead of £9.45. Unfortunately I live out in the sticks, miles from any TFC, so I have to bite the bullet and pay Amazon's price. But the tea itself I can highly recommend to Earl Grey connoisseurs.

I have tried many makes of earl grey tea leaves and had found Tescos finest came top of my list until I tried Ahmed over 2 yrs ago .Since it is the only tea I have really enjoyed and love to get up in the morning to a pot of it. One needs to get the exact balance as it is stronger than other earl grey teas and therefore just a teaspoonful is enough for a pot if left 5 mins to brew. Do try it.

Tea has a good aroma and look It is not powder tea nor is it full leaf. It is somewhere in between, a kind of half leaf size which is reflected in it's pricing. I think most tea strainers will cope well with it No blue flowers

I love this tea. Very subtle flavours and easy to vary the strength. I always take tea without milk so cannot comment how this would taste with milk added. A little goes a long way and this is such good value as well as being environmentally friendly in not using tea bags. I just put a teaspoon in a stainless steel tea diffuser, pour over boiling water and leave for about 2 minutes depending on the strength I want. Perfect.

Very good black tea, aromatic and strong. A huge step-up from ordinary supermarket brands, and for an affordable price. It's a relief to know that I can still get high-quality tea despite being a student on a budget. The difference in taste is immediately noticeable, and you need a smaller amount to achieve the same strength of tea, which makes it even more of a good deal. I'll definitely stick to this brand as my regular basic black tea.

It does have strong taste which we all really like as a family. Wish they could keep the price down..

Unfortunatly the item was was supposed to come with a mug in each pack but only turned up as only packs of tea. I dont like to leave a bad review but i can not find anywhere to make a complaint to.

Nachtrag 2022-03-11: inzwischen zum dritten Mal bestellt und immer noch sehr zufrieden! Earl Grey ist gerade meine Lieblingsgeschmacksrichtung. Ich trinke ihn heiß gebrüht mit einem Schuss Vollmilch und nachdem ich sonst immer die Teebeutel vom Discounter genommen hatte wollte ich auch mal auf Kanne mit losem Tee umsteigen. Hier bei amazon fand ich den 500Gramm-Pack für 5,99 EUR incl. Versand als Prime-Lieferung. Da kann man nicht viel falsch machen und schmecken tut er auch sehr gut. Ich finde ihn nicht zu intensiv vom Geschmack wie es hier vereinzelt mal berichtet wird. Kann aber an der Milch liegen, die ich in den Tee gieße. Die Verpackung ist außen aus Pappe; innen ist der Tee noch einmal zusätzlich in einer Tüte verschweißt. Da würde ich mir wünschen dass es mal bessere, wiederverschliessbare Tüten gibt. Ist die Tüte erst einmal offen dann kann diese kaum noch geruchsdicht verschlossen werden und auch die Entnahme von Tee mittels Teelöffel ist immer ein Glücksspiel. Egal, der Tee ist sehr gut; allerdings derzeit nur viel teurer zu bekommen. Wenn er mal wieder in niedrigeren Preisregionen ankommt werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder zuschlagen.

the tea is just as delidious as it was in my memory, just a pity It is not available in Belgium anymore, and I have to order it online (which costs a lot in transport !
