Another birthday present for my son. Stylish, brush very soft and lathers soap well. He is very happy with it

I shave my head and find the soap helps get a smooth, comfortable and really close shave. I prefer it to proraso by a distance. The brush is also fantastic. However, I’m not a fan of the stand and feel it’s a little award to get the bowl out.

A good quality stand, soap & bowl and of course a badgers hair shaving brush. I like the stand, soap and bowl but unfortunately I didn’t like the badgers hair brush, just didn't like the feel of it so have gone back to my synthetic shaving brush. I have deducted one star just for that reason but I am sure it’s a good quality badgers hair brush if you like that sort of thing.

I bought this alongside some other gifts for my 18 year old for his birthday. He's used it already and the badger brush is good quality and the soap smells and feels smooth and gentle not over perfumed.Great little gift

Quality being fit for purpose at minimal cost, this product hit the mark as well as being delivered quickly.

The packaging was great and super rigid so nothing was dented or damaged. I've been using this set in conjunction with Harry's shaving blades and foam, for about 10 shaves now and the badger hair brush is excellent at creating a consistent foam. It's not too soft or too harsh. For those complaining about the bowl rusting, you just need to dry it better. Take care of this product and it'll last a long time I know it.

This is a great starter set to get you started on improving your shave. I had been using shaving cream in an aerosol can for as long as I have been shaving, but always had issues with irritation even after trying several different brands.Using a brush and shaving soap is a great way to easily improve your shave. I found using a brush and shave soap helped my shave feel more comfortable and felt less irritation after the shave.As well the shaving cream that comes in an aerosol can hurts the environment, so using a brush with a cream or soap is a good way to help the environment and get a better shave.The Pros:-You get everything you need (brush, bowl, drying stand for brush and shave soap) to get started at a good price point.-The brush is decent quality, feels comfortable and is the best part of the kit.The Cons:-The brush does have a strong odor, but goes away with use.-The shave soap it comes with is good, but there are better soaps and creams out there. Of course, once the soap is gone you can use any other soap or cream you want with the kit.Bottom-line:I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve their shave.

I was using an old brush handed down from my grandfather. It was missing half of its hairs but it was still working fine. But I needed a replacement cause the wood handle was cracked and I lost it recently. I got used to using the brush, I feel like it softens the hair before a shave.This brush feels better and much nicer than my old one. It might be rough at the moment, but it might soften a little bit the more I use it. Having a stand for it is the best thing, it dries and it can stay in its spot. The lather bowl is good but I would’ve been perfect if it had a grip or a place to put a finger through so it doesn’t fall off the hand easily. I’ve never used a soap bar before, it works well and it has a nice smell to it.The product feels and works like it was made with quality materials. It’s worth the price. I’ll check in a month and share a new opinion if needed

Absolutely fantastic. No funny smell like some mentioned. Brush is easy to clean if you rinse right after applying shave soap to face. Seems sturdy and definitely a solid price. Super soft on the face and holds together well. I will mark that the bowl is a little on the small side but it's fantastic quality.

I am quite happy with the brush. The wooden handle looks nice and has a waterproof finish. I chose this one because it is not plastic, comes with a stand, and the price is competitive. I cant comment on the soap as I haven't used it yet. The brush does shed a few bristles if you wring it out but i still think it will last for years before that affects how well it works.
