Cocotte with steaming basket

Top quality, just make sure you season it properly. It retains and evenly distributes heat. Nice weight, great size, look fantastic in Black. The steam attachment is excellent too. Used for veg and dim sum. Highly recommended.

Staub cast iron cookware is not cheap but if you want to buy to last then these are well worth considering. They are not enamelled on the inside and so need to be seasoned, and as long as they are cared for properly they improve with time. I bought this with the steamer as it was cheaper than buying without, the steamer is very heavy duty stainless and is also great quality but I haven't had a cause ti use it yet.

Great for browning and slow roasting. Also Great for baking bread.

Great heavy duty pan , wish I’d bought it sooner

After a few years with chipped LeCreuset pots, we went for a Staub. Jury is still out on the longevity, but the quality is impressive – including the steamer with the silicone gasket. Brilliant design. Evaporates less than LC, so keep in mind if you braise and want to reduce liquids. The black interior takes a bit getting used to, – the off white interior of other brands are easier to work with – but if it makes for a a more solid, longer lasting enamel – we're fans. All in all – impressive pot!

A great Dutch oven bakes perfect bread, which I bought it for. I am very pleased with it.

The Staub cocotte with steamer that I received is perfect. The quality is excellent. Everything fits tightly. I've got Lodge brand enameled cast iron and I've really wanted a Staub for a long time. The Staub lid is fantastic, and I love the dark enamel that the Staub has. The steamer is a very large capacity compared to my other steamer options and I'm very happy with that. It's the largest steaming option I've found. It would be nice to be able to buy a second steamer and stack them but I can't find the steamer in stock anywhere. The quality of the steel on the steamer seems to be very good compared to other options I've seen. This is a buy-it-for-life item.

ずっと欲しかったからブラックフライデーでお安くなってたので迷わず購入しました。いつもたくさん作るので大きいサイズにしました。いろいろ作ってみましたが水を使わないので野菜の甘みでとっても美味しい料理が出来ます。大きいのでそれなりにやはり重いです💦でも料理を作るのが楽しみで買って良かったです。次に安くなっていたら小さいストウブも買いま〜す😍

Also es ist meine erste Cocotte und ich kann nur sagen ich bin echt begeistert und sie ist nach kurzer Zeit mein Haupttopf geworden. Wir haben sie für das Wohnmobil gekauft, auch wenn sie dafür sehr schwer ist. Wir sparen jedoch andere Töpfe ein und haben nun einen Wertingen Topf dabei worauf wir grossen wert legen. Die Gerichte werden einfach toll darin und der Dampfgareinsatz ist einfach nur klasse. Der Topf sowie der Dampfgarer sind einfach nur von einer hervorragenden Qualität. Anders kann man es einfach nicht sagen. Wir mussten auf allen unseren Kochmöglichkeiten (Gas, Induktion und Ceranfeld) die Temperatur drastisch verringern. Der Topf speichert die Wärme eine Ewigkeit und man hat über einen langen Zeitraum hinweg immer Zugriff auf ein warmes Essen. Was ich noch klasse fand ist, der Deckel mit seiner Eigenschaft das Wasser wieder in den Topf zurückzugeben. Hähnchen und Braten werden super Zart, einfach ein Gedicht. Aber ich war auch sehr angenehm Überrascht, dass beim Nudelkochen das Wasser nicht übergelaufen ist. Ich habe viel darin gemacht da es unterwegs unser Haupttopf werden soll.

I had a 24cm Staub cocotte already and needed something a little bigger. When I saw this on amazon with the steamer basket for that price I jumped at the opportunity, as this was cheaper than the 24cm one. When it arrived I learned that the knob was a beautiful slight golden and the exterior black is quite matte (same as the interior) and not glossy. The steamer insert is big. I'm very happy.
