ETON B-100 T 2-Way Component System for BMW

My 2010 F11 had the base audio system (4 speakers, 2 underseat woofers). Coming from a Lexus which had the awesome Mark Levinson 13 speaker system, the BMW system was totally underwhelming. This ETON kit has gone a long way to rectifying that, with the main benefit being adding the much needed tweeters in the front mirror sails. Music and voices now come through crisply and cleanly, and the ETON door speakers produce much more punchy mid and low end than the standard speakers. Magnets are about twice the size/weight.While it still doesn't match the Lexus ML system, it may come close when I replace the woofers and rear speakers with ETON equipment.Installation was extremely straightforward. If, like me, your car didn't have tweeters originally, then you will need to buy the correct mirror sail panels from BMW (around £20 for the pair). The speakers fit right into the original mounts with no modifications. Took around 45 minutes to do both sides.Overall, highly recommended and I will be purchasing more ETON products in the near future.

I used these speakers to upgrade base front door speakers in my BMW E92. Man these are great, particularly for the price. Plug and play swap. Please note however that you will need a plastic frame for the tweeters( unless you already have tweeters fitted). Tweeter housing is available from BMW or Ebay. The sound is great and loud, I have these connected to Hertz Amplifier. But even if you do not want to connect an amp these will make a massive difference, particularly the tweeters :)

Fantastic speakers.Used this to replace the door mids on my BMW F10.My car didn't have tweeters therefore I purchased the tweeter covers from elwhere and placed the tweeters from this kit into the covers.To really appreciate the Eton speakers, you need this wired into an amp.I used a 4 channel pioneer amp with 2 channels on the low frequencies for the underseat woofers and the other 2 channels to the high frequency Eton speakers.I cannot tell you how amazing the sound quality now is.

Great quality speakers, arrived very fast, in 3 days, good communication with the seller. If you don't have an amplifier fitted in your car you need Eton B100XHP crossover to make them work at full potential. I am running mine through Kenwood X801-5. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I have had these fitted a little over week so they aren’t broken in yet, but the sound is good.However, I was somewhat disappointed to find the speakers showed obvious signs of being fit to a vehicle before. I didn’t order a used item!To add to this this price has dropped twice since I purchased!

Great product. A real improvement over oem setup. Need a separate power amp as oem as is not powerful enough

After reading so many positive reviews and doing some research I thought I'll give this a try as it seems the most economical way to upgrade the base sound system of a bmw. I've ordered the new grills to accommodate the new tweeters and started the installation which took me just over an hour to do it properly. The Installation itself is very simple and straightforward. Sound quality wise... Straight away i noticed more clarity and definition on the high tones as now there are tweeters of course but I also noticed a decrease in the low end which was rather disappointing so I decided to swap the rear speakers with the front original speakers as they have some sort of condenser to see if that makes any difference and indeed it did, got back the low punch and in general, I can now say that I can play louder, crisper and punchier sound than ever before. I still think however that buying a used set of logic 7/ HK off of eBay will give you the same if not better sound quality for half the price so I'm not sure yet this was worth the money spent considering this although I now have a better audio experience. If you're not interested in buying 2nd hand speakers I think they are worthy of what you pay for.

Speakers are a good improvement and good quality. A lot better than the original speakers from bmw e81/e87. Easy installation. Better sound, music is more clear and more bass and high pitches. Original housing has 3 screws for the main door speaker, but only 2 holes will line up with the new speaker. It will fit easily and not vibrate so far. Didn’t see any adapters or adjustments suggestions in productmanual .Keep in mind you need the tweeter housing from bmw in order to use the tweeters. It’s a option on the car, so it might not have it already. I had original bmw harman kardon tweeter housing installed prior.

Los materiales usados tienen bastante calidad, suenan de lujo y la instalación es sencilla, no hay que adaptar cables.

Si installa perfettamente negli alloggiamenti previsti sulla BMW. senza cambiare nient'altro il suono è cambiato dal giorno alla notte. Stavo pensando di cambiare anche quelli posteriori ma vedo che costano di più, non capisco, in teoria dovrebbero essere identici

Der umbau hat ca. 1,5h gedauert, wobei ich mir Zeit gelassen habe. Mit dem "BGS Zierleistenkeile-Set 3027" ging der umbau lt. Video auf der Homepage von Eaton ganz einfach. Ich hab mir Systeme von 1000.- € bis 1800.- angehört, klar sind die besser, aber ich finde den Preisunterschied von 200.- zu 1000/1800.- € steht in keiner Relation zu der Klangverbesserung.Ich hatte vorher (X1) 2x Mitten und 2x Bass unter dem Sitz (BMW) - durch den Umbau sind die Höhen plötzlich da (klar vorher gab es keine Hochtöner) und die Mitten viel wärmer/präsenter. Ich hatte links die neuen Boxen drin und rechts die alten, mit dem Fader hin und her geschalten (Bass ganz aus), die alten Boxen klangen nach dem "Kofferradio von meinem Opa" die neuen nach "gutem Sound".Was man nicht erwartet darf: Bei den teuren System hört man ja wirklich "wo" der Sänger auf der virtuellen Bühne steht, das kann das System nicht (dazu braucht es vermutlich einen DSP), die Top-Lautstärke wird nicht lauter (gefühlt minimal), dazu bräuchte es einen zus. Verstärker, der Bass wird nicht viel knackiger, dazu müsste ich noch die normalen BMW USB gegen die "B 195 Neo BMW Untersitzwoofer" tauschen UND dazu bräuchte es einen zus. Verstärker.Das schöne, man macht kein Geld kaputt, wenn man so wie ich kein BMW "Hifi" oder besser im Auto hat, hat man erst mal ein deutliches Plus durch die B-100 T. Wenn das nicht reicht macht man mit den USB Tausch weiter, wenn da nicht reicht, kommt die neu Verkabelung und Verstärker/DSP.
