Fujifilm XF23mmF2 R WR - Black

This is a really awesome lens. I love it because of it's speed, portability, the photos that come out of it look great to me. I bought it second & the seller has provided a good quality lens & also a reasonable price for the lens as it was second hand.

Small, light, sharp and weather resistant. Good colour rendition. Lacks a little micro contrast. Not many other systems have this sort of quality at this price in this focal length. Step up in quality and sharpness from the fuji kit zooms. Great if you like 35mm equivalent field of view. Not as sharp as my 35mm f1. 4, but much faster focusing and lighter. Pairs well with all the smaller fuji bodies. Used on xt20 and xm1. It's now my go to lens for street and casual photography.

For the longest part, I have used (full frame equivalent) 50mm and 28mm lenses. This is my first time using a 35mm eqv. lens and I love it. The focal length is incredibly versatile, the lens itself has a very unique design and fits well on any Fujifilm body, excellent solid build quality and the aperture ring is as smooth as silk. The AF is fast and reliable, quiet and focuses internally. The image quality is of a high calibre with beautiful colour rendition and excellent sharpness. There is very minimal distortion and to my eyes, the lens produces images with lots of character and a '3D pop' (this is up to debate - some call it micro contrast, others say it's due to a low element lens design, some refuse to believe it exists at all stating it's nothing but forum-drivelling hogwash). If you've done any research on this lens you've probably come across criticisms of the close focusing performance. At minimum focusing distance, wide open at f2, the performance can be inconsistent. You may find that, high contrast or bright scenes have a haze around the subject, however by F2.8 this mostly disappears. Between f2-f2.8 at minimum focus distance has some softness however still holds up very well. At f2, the lens is sharp at more typical distances. I don't think the above is a detractor from enjoying this lens. My intention at the point of purchase was for this to be my 'one and only' lens to do everything, so I was initially slightly disappointed to see the close up f2 performance. But after about a week's worth of use, I began to understand how the lens works and work with it's qualities, and soon looked beyond this point of contention.

Nice look, good color but very weak performance when you shoot close object. The minimum focal distance should be marked as 1 meter I think

Este objetivo en cuanto construcción esta muy bien, es robusto, pesa poco y no es muy grande. A pesar de ser bastante nitido procedo a su devolución ya que no supera en mucho al objetivo de kit 18-55 siendo esta más versatil y no mucho más voluminoso aunque si algo más pesado.

Ho acquistato questa lente per accoppiarla alla mia X-T100. Ho preso una lente prime in quanto ideale per cominciare con la fotografia e capire come funzionano le focali (nonostante utilizzassi già uno zoom che però mi vincolava fisicamente dato che mi bastava una ruitata della lente per avvicinare il soggetto). L'obiettivo è molto piccolo e compatto ma costruito meravigliosamente, tutto in metallo, è tropicalizzato e la ghiera dei diaframmi è fantastica. Anche la ghiera della messa a fuoco manuale è molto fluida e precisa. Le foto sono estremamente nitide, luminose e dettagliate. Mess a fuoco molto veloce e precisa anche se mi aspettavo qualcosa di ancora migliore ma probabilmente è dovuto alla mia camera essendo una low-middle budget. Ideale per paesaggistica a mio parere ma se la cava bene in tutto. Penso che sarà la mia lente principale che lascerò attaccata alla macchina e che porterò sempre con me.

I like the lens, sharp images , good at the corners, has a minimum distance. It does not zoom, still one of the most wonderful types of lens setting

I’m in love with this lens. Better than F1.4 for sure

Acheté en remplacement du Fujifilm 27mm V2 de mon XE4, il est tout simplement excellent. L'autofocus du 23mm est bien plus silencieux et plus précis que le 27mm.
