Not the best option
I bought these locks to use outdoors and so far they have been a disappointment. After only being outside for 2 weeks some of the locks are already getting hard to get a key in and unlock. I sprayed silicone in them after discovering this so hopefully that helps. I guess you get what you paid for when it comes to quality.

For the price worked just fine
I used them on a indoor case so idk how they would stand up outdoors.

Rusted out after first rain
These locks were used for outdoor lockers. They were great until it rained last Friday. They immediately rusted shut. We could barely get them open again. (1) after return date :(

Not weather proof
After one season on my sheds all of the locks were corroded with a white substance emitting from the lock and extreme difficulty getting the key in all the way and wouldn't turn.

Weatherproof? I don't think so
After receiving the padlocks, I used all 5 of them for outdoor use on my sheds, fence, and pool deck. After just one week and a small amount of rain, it was nearly impossible to turn the key in the locks to disengange the shanks. I had to spray WD-40 in all the locks to get them to work again. I can't imagine what they will be like after a long Iowa winter. Do not buy this brand of padlock. Spend a little extra money and buy quality padlocks.

Worst Locks Ever!
I have a chain lock on my front gate. I live in Oregon obviously it rains a lot. Each one of those locks lasted around 3 to 5 days. The keys won't turn. The key gets stuck. Struggle to open the locks. I threw them away as they broke. Worst locks I've ever purchased.

Not Waterproof And Corrodes Right Away
The metal they use is cheap and corrodes quickly. I used these for 2-3 weeks outdoors and they started corroding right away and became hard to lock and unlock. I don’t recommend these. Get something that’s stainless steel.
