Joseph Joseph Helix Potato Ricer, Mashed and Vegetable Purees, BPA free, Stainless Steel, White/Grey, 24

Just used this last night, and it blew my mind! Lol seriously I've had a couple of heavy duty ricers and they did a good job, but they always had 3 main issues, first holes all around (causes the mash to spurt out all over the place, instead of straight down into the bowl), second, less waste (others left anything from 1 to 2 cm of potato in the bottom of the press unable to go through), and third clean up, (potato gets into all the nooks and crannies making it a pain to clean). This ricer though only has holes in the bottom, and due to the unique design it leaves a tiny smear of potato, less than a mm, and clean up took seconds, run under the tap, quick once over with soapy sponge to remove any starch, then rinse. Also I have quite weak hands so the design means I can use it a lot easier. The only slight negative is the size of the hopper, you can fit about 4 or 5 large (think large baked potato cut into 4) pieces of potatoes in, but it's so quick and effortless that it's not a bother. If you want a ricer buy this, I know it's pricey but it's quality, I'm never a slave to brands, I also look at reviews to get the best value. I can not recommend this highly enough!

Excellent kitchen product which makes having mashed potatoes smooth and super easy to do! Rices the potato’s perfectly so they can then be made into mash with added milk, butter and that extra pinch of cracked pepper…the perfect mash! Easy to use and handy for easy and quickness. I stick it in the dishwasher so in terms of cleaning, so easy!

I love this ricer. It is light and easy to use and produces perfect fluffy mash potatoes with minimal effort. Compact, easy to clean and store. Thoroughly recommend worth every penny

Our last ricer rusted and was a real pain to use so decided to give this one a try. Doesn’t hold a lot of potatoes at once but easy to press through, I can imagine it would be good for elderly users as the motion is to twist the arms rather than squeeze. Bits of potato squish out which you get with any ricer but easy to clean after. Feels like it should last, better buy than the all metal ones in my opinion

This is awesome. It’s absolutely brilliant. It’s so easy to use and makes the smoothest mashed potatoes. It’s easy to clean, it’s comfortable to hold. It’s perfection.

I had tried everything before to get lump free mash. Whisking, mashing, blending, punching. No matter what I did there was still the odd lump. I knew it was time to get a ricer. I got this one because it had no removable parts to break off. It's two bits, that's it. Put the potato in, twist one bit onto the other. Boom. This thing is amazing and have had smoooooth mash ever since. Recommend cleaning by rinsing it straight away to get most of it off then shoving in the dishwasher.

Oh my God! Why didn’t I know about this piece of kit earlier? I balked at the price, but it is worth every penny. If you cook from scratch and use a lot of mash, this makes light work of it. I now have arthritis in my hands so I find mashing potatoes quite difficult. This makes it an absolute breeze. Would highly recommend this piece of Kitchen equipment.

In your endless scroll on tiktok, you probably saw a video of someone using this device and felt the urge to buy it.... I feel you. That's exactly what happened to me. I waited a while to actually buy it because, i don't really trust an hyped product on social media, but then, i remembered, when I was young, my mom used to make potato rice and i wanted to eat some, just like the old days, so i finally ordered it. Great decision. I waited a bit to use it when it arrived, you know.. I wasn't sure. One night while i needed to make mashed potato, i wondered how soft they would be if I'd rice them first and oh god, I'm glad i did! They're the softest! So good! No more clumps in my homemade mashed! They where soooo soft and delicious! My 5 yo also agreed, they are now the BEST mashed potato. Its really easy to use too, no real effort needed. My 5yo also does it, with a little help but she loves ricing them. It's also pretty easy to clean, only tips i would give is to wash the left over potato with hot water right after using it, sonthe potato won't stick to it and it's way easier to clean then. I wish you all soft and delicious mashed!

Love this so much. Great for arthritis hands to use too. So easy, you'll want to make mashed potatoes every day.

Cercavo una cosa del genere da anni, e quando l'ho visto su Amazon non ci potevo credere, ho più di qualche cosa della stessa marca, ottimi prodotti, sempre al di sopra delle aspettative, in questo caso per me é stato determinante il fatto, che siano due pezzi singoli che poi si uniscono, minimo sforzo e massima resa, spreco del prodotto che si spreme ridotta veramente ad una quantità davvero minima, poi vogliamo parlare del lavaggio? Si lava in un nano secondo, proprio per il fatto che si divide in due pezzi singoli, e comunque va tranquillamente in lavastoviglie, dove viene fuori come nuovo! Altra cosa per me importante era il cestello, lo volevo medio piccolo, perché più che altro volevo usarlo per spremere la mozzarella per la pizza, e funziona alla perfezione! Poi ci faccio ogni genere di purea, dai legumi alla zucca le carote le zucchine... in ultimo le patate pensate un po'...!!! Lo straconsiglio sicuramente, come un articolo che non dovrebbe mai mancare nella nostra cucina, lo ricomprerei 100 volte!

Je voulais un presse purée manuel autre que le manche. Au vu des commentaires sur les moulins qui ne sont pas pratiques pour le nettoyage, parfois trop petit ou cassé j’ai opté sur celui-ci. J’ai eu du mal à le trouver lors de ma recherche. Je vous le recommande à 100%, il est facile à manipuler, facile à faire sortir la purée, facile de nettoyage, d’excellente qualité, à l’air solide, bien conçu, passe au lave vaisselle, pas de perte de légumes. Pour le moment j’ai essayé seulement la patate. Foncez!

Eine sehr gute Presse. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.
