Jamie Oliver JB1903 Carving Board, Wood, Brown,46.1 x 34.1 x 2.9 cm

I like this, it has large drain gutters - clearly has a profesional chef's design input. It has a large reservoir to stop the meat juices spilling over. A small concern is the thickness of the wood where the reservoir is, I will update if this is an issue. The carving board arrived undamaged and without any manufacturing defects, the overall finish was fine. Hopefully this will last a lifetime.

Beautiful acacia wood carving/chopping board. It really looks authentic & the wood is very aesthetic.It’s recommended to preserve it before first use with oil (there’s special oils for this; however I wouldn’t use olive oil as is suggested).This board has 2 sides, one for meat with juice part to collect the juice from craving meat to make gravies etc which does a wonderful job plus it even has a pouring spout on the juicer to pour it out.The other side is for veg & fruit or even a cheese board as it’s quite large. Another great thing about this board is you know which side is for fruit/veg & which for meat {it’s been said that for hygiene not use the same board for both) so you have 2 boards in 1 !Dimensions are:Width=34cmLength=46cmThickness=2.5cmWeight=2kgPS. I think it’d be an improvement if they provided a little bottle of kitchen board oil with it as if someone forgets to put it on, it’s a waste of a beautiful piece of wood.

Really good product, excellent quality and value for money.... Would recommend... Also perfect size not too big or too small

Great size for big roasts and love the drip hole feature. My only issue is that I’ll need to sand it down a bit more as the grain is a bit rough. Very lightweight which I didn’t expect. For the price ( I think I got it reduced) it’s pretty good value.

Only brought this board in January and after a few usages it has split. Size is good but quality is poor for the money and I expected it to last longer.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband and he can’t stop raving about it. Would recommend oiling as soon as received but other than that, great board. Reversible too

Such a simple, but effective, design! Board is large in size - easily fits two roast chickens on it with room to spare. Used danish oil on it prior to use in order to seal the surfaces. Purchased a second as a present, very useful gift.

I purchased the Jamie Oliver CArving Board on 11th June 2020 and after 4 months and 5 or 6 uses, the board has cracked so now leaks the juices from the meat onto the table and is therefore, useless.

Très belle planche à découper. Très stylée ! Épaisse, solide et surtout très belle ! Le bac récupérateur de jus et les rainures profondes y conduisant sont d’une réelle utilité. Enduire la planche d’une légère imprégnation d’huile d’olive avant premier usage et surtout ne pas la passer au lave-vaisselle ! Ce modèle est pratique et élégant mais attention à ses grandes dimensions qui ne conviennent pas nécessairement à toutes les cuisines. Y découper un poulet ou un rôti est devenu un jeu d’enfant, tant elle est bien conçue. Elle peut être utilisée retournée car elle ne comporte pas de petits pieds en plastique.

Das Tranchierbrett ist sensationell, weil es endlich eine Lösung für den Fleischsaft gibt. Wer kennt nicht die Situation, ein schönes saftiges Stück Fleisch zu schneiden und der Fleischsaft tritt langsam über die Ufer, man selber kann aber niichts dagegen machen, weil das Fleisch ja noch heiß serviert werden soll. Mit diesem Tranchierbrett kein Problem mehr. Zum einen weil es deutlich mehr Saftablaufrillen als in einem herkömmlichen Brett gibt, zum anderen weil es ein großes "Auffangbecken" gibt, das man den Saft über einen Ausguss problemlos abgießen könnte.

Genau das, was ich gesucht hatte. Ein hochwertiges Schneidbrett für Fleisch. Es ist hochwertig verarbeitet und sieht auch noch gut aus. Der Bratensaft läuft einem nicht mehr davon (z.B. auf die Arbeitsplatte...) und man kann das Fleisch sicher schneiden. Die kleine Sammelvertiefung fängt den Bratensaft auf und man kann ihn dann mit Hilfe des Ausgießers sicher in einen Topf gießen um Soße zuzubereiten. Etwas groß ist das Brett schon, aber das weiß man ja anhand der angegebenen Maße.
