i've actually had this case for a while, and i think it's about time i do a review. I got this case for my behemoth of a laptop, looking for something that was somewhat stylish compared to all the dull, black, and somewhat boring cases for anything bigger than 13". The case is a soft, malleable material that doesn't do much to actually protect the computer from falls, just to prevent scratches and mild water contact. The zipper goes around horizontally halfway and provides good space to take out the laptop conveniently. Inside, there are two small handles that fold in when not in use, as to make way for the zipper, but if you are holding it through them, then the zippers will remain a bit open. On the side are two hooks where one connects the shoulder strap. the strap has a lightly padded movable thing. But taking into consideration the weight of the laptop, then it is recommendable to put your hand on the bottom when running/making jostling movements, since i wouldn't want the clasps to break on me and have my laptop shattered on the floor. Overall, the simplicity is what i need at the moment, and since i will be getting a smaller(and lighter, omg my laptop is really heavy)in the near future, i don't want to spend so much money on something temporary.

I bought this for my husband to use for his boating course. It was one of the few I could find with a masculine design. The design is fine, and for the price it is perfect. He didn’t need the added weight and cost of leather for a 3 month course that was one night a week. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is - in order to use the carry handles, you cant zip it closed all the way, you have to leave it open at the top in the middle to access the handles. He wanted the shoulder strap, so not much of an issue for him, but had it been for me, I would rethink the purchase as for reasons of security and privacy I’d want to completely zip it closed

There is no inside padding to help protect a computer when inside the case.

I'm new to carrying cases instead of laptop bag. The one fits the Acer Aspire e17 (17.3") perfectly. So absolutely no room for a power cord but you might be able to shove your phone in there. This is a water-resistant but perhaps not water-proof. A knocked over glass of water that was quickly mopped up didn't reach the laptop but the outside of the case still felt a little damp.In case you can't make it out on your screen the American flag design is antiqued so the colors are a little distorted. I like it but that might not be your thing. I wasn't expecting a whole lot - just a case that would be easy to spot to throw my laptop in. I'm removing one star only because while it's written in the description it's easy to miss -- if you use the carrying handles then you cannot zipper the case closed and that just seems silly to me.

It is half as thick as I thought it would be -- I was thinking of the neoprene that you get on sports braces and the like, but this isn't that thick. It does still give what I feel like is great protection against scuffs and light impact, so I still like it.I have a lenovo T430 that I use for work that is too big for the 16- 16.5 size, and too small for this size. I like it anyway, though, and it gives that extra level of protection that I wanted.

This neoprene sleeve is high quality. I have had it for almost six months now, and I take my laptop out multiple times a day. I rarely use the shoulder strap, but it seemed safe enough to protect my laptop. The graphic is neat and has not scratched, chipped, or faded anywhere.I bought this because my backpack wasn't designed specifically for laptops and doesn't have a sleeve of it's own. I have an ASUS G750JH, and it is extremely difficult to find a backpack that fits it. This sleeve fits it well though, and zips up completely. Just slide the skinny edge in first.

I have had a hard time finding a carrying case for my large laptop. This is not only functional but cute as well! I carry my laptop back and forth to work a lot and LOVE the option of both the small handle and crossover strap. I can also carry my charger and paperwork inside as well as the laptop. Very happy with this purchase!!!

Really nice looking case. Just what I wanted. Can use with or without the handles, and the same goes with the strap. Lots of room to put the power cord inside. That was the one thing I was worried about.
