This was a surprise for what it cost! I needed a pure sine wave to charge my sons electric bike (most electronics don't like cheap modified sine waves). I was impressed straight out of the box as it has a brushless DC fan which is quiet, it shows me the DC voltage on the battery, the frequency and the AC voltage on the display. The remote works straight out of the box (the unit switch has to be off for the remote to work - not rocket science). I have tried a variety of 500w hand tools and pushed it to 650w and all was OK.Most importantly, my sons electric bike charged from it happily off grid - Which it wouldn't from some very expensive portable power stations!Save yourself a fortune, create your own solar setup with a decent pure sine wave inverter like this, rather than spend out on expensive portable power stations!

The remote control doesn't work. i dont want to return the complete inverter as it is now installed.

30cm in length each, the cables are only AWG 6-7. This would suggest a maximum current of under 40 amps or under 500 watts. I've bought 4AWG cable but 5AWG should do. Besides the cables, it is a very good unit. Standby power is ~6W when on and 100 mW when off. The USB ports work when the device is powered off. Remote control only functions when the unit is in the 'off' position. Connection lugs are a little exposed at the rear but simple covers could be made / bought if required.
