It takes some getting used to at first, but ...
It takes some getting used to at first, but It lasts MUCH longer than tampons! If you have heavy cycles, it is a MUST HAVE! I used mine around the house for my first use, to get used to not having tampons to change out and to get an idea of how long it lasts before "changing". Word of warning...You may not want to "change" it in a public restroom as it needs to be rinsed, so you will need to purchase at least 2 and carry the other with you... (just in case).

This is a great product
Wanted to give this a try as an alternative to disposable femanine products and I am pretty well satisfied. It's easy to use and comfortable. If the seal isn't perfect there can be the tiniest of leaks, less than what I have experienced with tampons, but I think that will improve with practice. It takes some getting used to for placement and if done incorrectly will need to be adjusted. This is a great product over all, definitely recommend it.

Ummm, I'll stick to what I know.
I guess the product is ok, not my cup of tea. I feel the plastic is too hard to be inserting inside my gewels. I tried it out but was not pleased. I'll stick with what I know best.

Order a small!!
Please get a small if you have never had kids naturally. Trust me, you'll want a small no matter how heavy you're flow is. Otherwise very good quality, just GET THE RIGHT SIZE.

I love my menstrual cup but did have to cut the stem off (almost flush but not quite since I didn't want to create a hole in the cup, ruining it) because it was very uncomfortable and did take me a few times wearing it to get used to it. Now I almost forget I'm even wearing it! It is so Awesome that I can wear it for 12 hours before having to remove it to empty and clean it before reinserting it. Now I don't mind getting my period! I do wear my menstrual panties as a back up but honestly I have not had a leak at all while wearing my menstrual cup! I also love that it comes with a storage bag.
