The weight of this flatware is quite nice without feeling out of balance, heavy or bulky. The widths of the pieces are comfortable in the mouth and feel natural. I would definitely purchase these again.

I love this flatware. It looks great with my ceramic dinnerware. The weight of each piece makes it feel expensive and I like the longer handles. So glad I bought the set. Worth every penny.

I was looking for a set of silverware that was nicer, but not too pretty or flashy. This set is perfect. It’s heavy, but not too heavy, it’s perfect for everyday use, or can be used for a more formal meal with friends and family.

This is a very good set of flatware that compares favorably with a more expensive set I already owned. Each piece is about the same weight as the more expensive set, so it doesn't feel cheap at all. The finish is uniform and unblemished, and I was surprised that it doesn't seem to hold water spots too badly - not always the case with these shiny finishes. The design is subtle, and blends well with a contemporary or transitional table. I do find that the large spoon is much too big for us, so we generally use them only for serving. I also find that the difference between the small fork and the large fork is really hard to see, especially when quickly cleaning out the dishwasher. If you're okay with mingled forks, this isn't an issue. If mingled forks drive you slightly crazy (they do me), this may be an irritant. But honestly, that's nitpicking a very nice set of flatware, and it's entirely based on preference. Recommended.

Build Quality: The flatware is top notch. The 18/10 construction makes this silverware very study -- pieces won't bend under normal use. The finish and luster is brilliant. There are no sharp edges and all pieces feel and look great. The laser etching of the brand on the back of all pieces looks nice too. Feel / weight The flatware feels great. It isn't "heavy" like some 18/10 but it doesn't feel too light like some stamped metal flatware. I would say that it is "mid weight" Stackable: The pieces reasonably well in a silverware tray. Serving ware included: 1 serving tablespoon 1 pierced tablespoon 1 cold meat fork 1 butter knife 1 sugar spoon (not pictured) Final thoughts: This is fine flatware that I highly recommend. It looks great and is very strong, elegant, comfortable.

Each piece was individually packaged in a plastic sleeve then boxed. When I opened the box I put single individual pieces of each type next to what I was currently using for comparison. It didn't take an expert to determine that this was a much higher caliber of product. I liked the slim and simple design of the handles. In particular I liked the spoons as they are slightly more scooped and less likely (given the design) to have spillage. Although it says that they are dishwasher safe I think that for the time being I will wash them separately. It only takes a few minutes and I feel it will help maintain their gorgeous condition. Without a doubt this is the nicest set I've ever had. There are many beautiful designs by Mikasa but I really like this one. I was certainly NOT disappointed.

I love some good silverware, and I like a nice heavy feel to them. While these aren't the heaviest I've felt, they are QUALITY! They have a great polished shine,and the set serves 8, so in all, the 45 pieces is all we'll ever need. didn't take a ton of pics (just one actualy), but this was just to prove that they did arrive exactly as expected. Threw them in the dishwasher right away, and these things SHINE! I can be a little OCD, so when I touch them and see fingerprints, I know I'll constantly want to wipe them off, but I'll resist the urge to go overboard! Great item! Highly recommended!
