Great buy!
At first, I was afraid of the price, but my fear was unfounded. The item was sealed and worked like a charm. I was so impressed, that I ordered and received a second identical drive as RAID1 in my cheapo home NAS. Running them as RAID with a five-year warranty seems fine to me. Instead of struggling to pay for a WD Red or an Ironwolf, this saved money and should be just fine for my modest usage. So far, I'm pleased.

Worked great no problems
I got three of these for an array and had no issues with any of them. They all spun up and had no issues.

Quality ALL around
There are no dislikes to list...the speed with re-partitioning the drive, as well as formatting to NTFS was incredibly quick...cloning a 2 TB Operating System drive, utilizing near identical USB-2s external hookups, took only 4 hours. I suspect being able to utilize USB-Cs or, direct instillation inside the server/PC, would have reduced the utilization of time considerably.What I liked the very best was how the drive arrived packaged for protection and safety. To me, a clear indication that these providers are being both conscientious and dedicated to giving the very best service to their clients/customers. Bravo Zulu...WELL DONE! OLD DRIVE. No Manufactures Warranty.
This drive sold as new, was manufactured May 31st, 2020 making it OLD. Repackaged with a warranty card from the reseller. When I checked the warranty @ Seagate.com/RMA, I was told that these drives were sold as part of another product. No Warranty! To many bad drives being resold by these vendors.

Warranty?
Not sure if these drives are used or extremely old stock. I checked the serial number on the Seagate site for the warranty and it only shows 6 months left on it, it should be a 5 year warranty from Seagate. I purchased a "new" drive when I ordered it. I contacted seller to see if they give some other warranty but there was nothing in the box stating that. Good price for the size if it actually had a real warranty. Will update review if seller comes through with warranty, otherwise I'll be sending it back and leave review as is. Seller was eNovativeGear.

Made my Drobo slower
Drive is working fine, but my Drobo is transferring files MUCH slower now.

Arrivé défectueux

Item show is new Seagate, item received was a used Toshiba still mounted on a server tray!. Asking for refund
