Easy to program once we worked out how. Point new remote at garage control close to program button. Press button on remote. Keep pressed. LED next to program button on garage control blinks. Press garage program button. Let go of remote button. This is an old Garador unit so others may work differently. Possible to link all buttons on remote to garage control.

We lost one of our old remotes and struggled for a year by opening the other door ! I bought two of these remotes and it took 5 seconds to pair - with each operating both doors. Much tougher and better made than the originals. Highly recommended. Our garage door openers are circa 1999 chamberlain model 4410EGC - 418 - it says Autodor on the side of the unit. The key thing is the frequency 418mhz. There is a smart/pairing button on the back of the motor - press once and a neon comes on by the button.Press the button on the remote you want to use once. The light on the motor will flash once. You are paired. Easy. Ignore all the cloning instructions- it is much easier to pair with the actual opening mechanism.

When I finlly got it programmed it worked very well. Instructions not detailed enough. They don't say what all the buttons are for (and the diagram was not detailed enough) or explain that you only need to use button no. 1 and others are superfluous. It would help if it they explained that when simultaneously holding down the button on the control box and button no. 1 on the controller, you have to wait for the control box to click before it is programmed. My control box light flashes very fast and I was holding the buttons down for too long, so it then deprogrammed itself. I am reasonably technically competent, despite being fairly ancient and a lot of bad language was used before I realized what the problem was.

Bought this to replace my Lift-Master 4182E 418Mhz unit (which was playing up) and it now works perfectly. It is easy to set up with the simple instructions on the leaflet provided. The Fob appears to be of good quality, has some weight with it and I would recommend it for those looking for a compatible unit.

This took ages to sort out and I ended up paying for three and receiving two.The remotes work occasionally.

Ordered one of these to be sure that it did what it says. IT DOES. Prompt delivery and comes with simple instructions. Had all four buttons programmed in about 2 mins so it does not matter which button I press to operate the garage door. I like the sliding guard which protects the numbered buttons so they cannot be pressed accidentally.I have now ordered another the same.

We bought this as a replacement for an old garage door remote. The instructions to set the new remote control were easy to follow and worked first time. Easy to put on the key ring with the car keys.
