These are fabulous books! My little girl loves them! They also give words on the pages that help describe the picture.. Great for sleep deprived mummies with baby brain!!

Beautiful book. Makes a lovely present.

This was bought for my 16 month old by a very dear friend who is clearly marvellous at choosing gifts for small people. She had already given him Opposites and Numbers from the Touch Think Learn series which he adores. This one is equally lovely but aimed at a slightly older audience as it has a lovely vocabulary section on each page with relevant nouns and verbs for each animal. My favourite touch is that the verbs are in italics to distinguish them from the nouns, helping even the youngest children to begin to group words by function. For example, the donkey page says "mane - saddle - hoof - muzzle - ear - grass - tail - carrot - grazing - swishing" (My computer won't let me italicise the verbs though!)

I was hoping for something as excellent as the ABC version of this series. But this one is small. Ok, but nothing special. I’d recommend the ABC book instead of you don’t already have that one.
