For long long time I have been searching a sony sound bar cause I have Sony Bravia X90H. My first preference was HT A7000. But that was priced much higher. Though the new line up BRAVIA BAR 8 and 9 definitely have better soounds but again they cost much. At 45677/- with cashback I think this is the lowest price of its life price history. I got it at the price of A3000. For sound quality it's good. For music it lacks some delicate precision but apart from this it perfectly works fine with sony tvs. Looking to add SW5 subwoofer and best rear speaker RS 5 when I get a good deal. Easy to install and easy to use. The sound is very soothing to ear and bass is very sweet. And given the price what more can you ask? It's engineered by SONY and that's need no further reviews. Loving it.Spoiler alert: Go for HT A7000 at Rs 71000/- instead of Bar 8 or 9. Just wait and grab the deal. It was my dream deal but I couldn't grab. Check very first hours on Amazon Great Indian Sale for that price.

I am not much of a guy into music but always wanted a speaker to listen to those dialogue clearly on OTT and while watching movies some feel of theatre at home. This system does the job perfectly for that. Tried to listen to some music as well seemed pretty good to me.Adding more after using for a week. Do check the content you are playing by pressing display button on your soundbar unit for any dolby content, if it showing lpcm then same is not playing dolby. You will have to speak to sony support to get some settings sorted to play dolby.

I think this is a good soundbar made by Sony but .downside is you should calibrate.This Bar alone is also great,but components take it to next level. If you calibrate front speaker less than (0db) tweeter -4 db etc then others accordingly it is a wonderful sounding bar..My Score for music before calibration was 7.0 after calibration music:7.8/10, movies 7.4/10. sony could have done better if they provided their best or premium dsp in this bar..if they could have used the dsp of tan 1000 it would have been the best..but from a soundbar point of view it delivers more than you expect.. but difficult process is callibrating individual channels but if you are able to do it correctly Sony beats sonos
