I bought this tape so that the starlings would not make nests in our trees and bushes....I have attached them everywhere....and to my delight....no starlings around....happy!

This tape worked exactly how I wanted it to. It has kept sparrows out of my blue bird house the minute I put it up. It didn't take long for a blue bird "family" to move in.

put this up on a recommendation from fascia repair guys who had to replace a lot of facia d/t woodpeckers. The new fascia has been up for over a year, and no more woodpecker holes! I taped 3-4 strips of this stuff, (about 12-18 inches long), to a 20 foot metal pole I had, hoisted it up near their favor spot, and let the wind do the rest. It does need repaired/replaced every 3 months or so, but much easier and cheaper than repairing fascia!

I think this helped keep the barn swallows away from my boat, but the birds had already nested and hatched by the time I got to installing this. I can say that the tape lasted one season before it started degrading. I’ll probably put some more out in the spring when we put the boat back in the water. The one roll I bought should last me a life time!

Decals did not seem to work. We have a LOT of windows and would so often hear the thunk of a bird hitting them. These are easy to put up and seem to work better. However, in the wind, they do make noise, but you get used to it.
