Good light but very difficult to get the bulb in but looks great when done

I ordered one for the front of the house and thought a mistake was made as I received two. Looking back at the listing, I noticed it didn't say there were two in the main description, but looking further down the page at the details it did say there were two - so, BONUS! I thought I ordered one! Which makes it VERY good value for money. Fitting it was straight forward enough, although the mains cable from the wall took some persuading to get it tucked in enough to fit the light to the plate. The only real issue I had was fitting the GU10 bulb as it only just fit in the housing and I couldn't see or feel the pins going into the socket.

Excellent light and value for money. It will not be easy for all as will need to know how to install electrics to use this light and may involve chasing cables into a wall to keep it neat and tidy, which is normal. I have wired mine to a 3A plug just like any indoor light. I have on a smart plug which is set to come on at sunset and switches off during the night- worth an idea.

A reasonably priced light, but no smart bulb included in the price. I took all the parts to be screwed on apart and smeared some grease on them to make removal easier when it’s time to change. Fitting the wiring was a pain. There’s not a lot of space for the terminal block box plus both sets of 3 core wiring within the wall base. I’d go for something with a larger footprint next time, something easier to fit all the wiring into. NB. To fit the GU10 bulb, you should invest in a GU10 removal tool, a small suction cup. Would I buy again, no.

Looks good, easy to fit

I spent FOUR hours removing my old light and then trying every-which-way to wire just up one of these LED lights. I bought six of these suckers, and it turns out they are basically impossible to wire up, because there's no space to get the cable in at the back, and there's no cut out at the top (see pictures)? These would be half-decent if only the housing was bigger! I did manage to get one light up and running, but because there's no space at the back, and you have to use a centre hole, it forces the lamp off the wall. Basically, it looks terrible! The two screws that hold the main body to the backplate hold it by a few tiny threads because they have to fit behind two 'V' shaped small grooves, which have been punched out to save money. I've already caused some damage just trying to tighten the screws up because the cable forces the lamp forward too much due to lack of space, and the screw will catch on the lip. Also, these lights will only accept a standard flat lens GU10 LED bulb, that is no more than 55mm in length—because anything longer won't fit either! It looks like five of them are heading back to Amazon, as the one I tried to fit is now slightly damaged!

Perfect

This is a good looking light that gives a light output both up and down. Easy enough to install the light but a bit fiddly getting the bulbs in. Bulbs were not included which is a bit annoying. Personally I'd rather they increased the price by a couple of pounds and included the bulbs as it does make it a bit of a faff having to but the bulbs separately.
