The seat lifts up. You can store items underneath

Q: Does it have a cane holder?

It does not. I have thought about making one from Velcro. Just to let you know, the leg tubing is not round tubing. Purhaps oval would be more correct. I am terribly happy with it. I got the blue one. It's wilder than many I have seen. When I had some test done, it drew a crowd of technicians who wanted to know about it. They called it the mountain bike of walkers. They had never seen one like it. We have a small car, so it doesn't fit in the trunk though. Me husband slides it in the back seat. It also rolls easily in the yard. I know this is more than you asked but I wanted you to know I am very happy with it.

was too big for wife, returned and purchase something else but yes the brake blade is smaller than some i've seen.
