Works as it should wiring was a simple process added the voltage I needed for a ring camera. No issues whatsoever.

After moving into a new place, the doorbells did not work (one chime upstairs, one chime down). After attempting to replace the chimes and running into the same issue, I replaced the transformer assuming it was blown. Same size transformer didn't solve the issue, but this sure did!

Easy to install and a solid performer. Provides enough power for my 2 Ring doorbells & my old doorbell chime inside. A little larger than I expected. I had to screw it to the rafter next to the electrical box & run a wire to the box instead of just inserting it into the bow with a lock washer.

One day my Ring Pro 2 stopped working. After verifying that the circuit breaker was fine, I was reading 0 volts at the doorbell wires, leading to the issue being with the transformer. I purchased this transformer based on the specs and overall positive reviews. Sad to say, this transformer arrived dead. I installed this transformer with the wires exactly as the old one was wired. 0 volts on the output side, 120 volts on the input side. I went to my local home improvement store and purchased a $19 transformer with a slightly lower power output. That one worked perfectly out of the box. I was bummed out to be one of the few unfortunate people to receive a dud. I liked the fact that you can install this transformer on a metal j box punch out. Very clean install

New transformer still runs a little warm but better suited for the ring doorbell. Do wish it was made in the USA
