Really Impressive , Sleek Doorbell with a great selection of Ringtones!
Item arrived via next day delivery thanks to my Amazon Prime account. It was well packaged in standard Amazon cardboard box.Contained inside were the three components of the door bell. The doorbell itself (the transmitter) and two pug in components (the receivers). Also received was an instruction booklet , some double sided tape and 2 x screws. A massive bonus of this bell is that no batteries are required at all , and the actual set up took less than 10 minutes! We simply attached the bell to the front door then plugged one receiver into our living room and one to the landing upstairs. The receivers cover up to a huge 500 ft or 150 meters. There are 4 different volume levels and a massive 58 ringtones to hear from! I could not believe the selection of tones available!Massive peace of mind is that the bell is totally water and weatherproof so no need to worry with how it will fair in the British weather!I could not be happier with this doorbell , an added personal bonus is hat it is white in colour so blends in with our front door perfectly , I know this wont be to everyone's taste , but for us it was a massive bonus.I would not hesitate to recommend this to others.

So far we are very happy with this
So far we are very happy with this. With one receiver plugged in upstairs and one downstairs(for fairly deaf father), these have worked out great. I hear it no problem behind a closed door halfway up the stairs - even asleep with ear plugs in. Dad seems to always hear it and answers the door. I love the fact it has no batteries and relies on the kinetic energy from a press of the ringer. But this being the case, it has an unorthodox ringer. It's more like a big square sprung light switch. A visitor presses it in, the bell sounds, and it pops back out. I quite like the design. I found putting the switch up easy. My insane father forbade me to stick it to the plastic porch with the sticky pad provided. Lacking the tools required I tried sticking it to the brickwork with the sticky pad instead. Of course it fell off within a day! Then I borrowed my brother's drill, took the back off with a screw driver, marked where the 2 holes needed to be on the briwkwork with a felt pen, then drilled 2 holes just big enough for the taps to go into. Then it was up and working.Been up a good few weeks(months?) now and it works every time without any misfires or missed rings. Plus it's under a spot with poor guttering so I think its waterproofing has been well tested and it's still working fine. Many tunes to choose from - some seem a little quiet but plenty of more animated ones and a few more orthodox bell sounds thrown in too. I ended up setting it to that Mozart piece they used in The Truman Show cos it makes me smile, it's loud and gets your attention, and it seems to annoy my father which is an added bonus. (many unresolved family issues - ignore me!)3 volume settings. A setting for whether you want the light once or flash when the bell rings or no light at all.Got to say I bought this with much trepidation but it has exceeded my expectations and I'm really happy with it. Would recommend and would buy again.(EDIT 03/04/19: I've moved out now but the bell is still going strong. I would thoroughly recommend this product. The only downside I can think of is that if a mischievous father keeps insisting on unplugging one of the ringers for no apparent reason, then the ringer forgets what melody it was set to. So unless you happen to have the ringers set to the first melody, you will have 2 ringers playing different melodies. And pity the fool who sets it to #51 out of 52 melodies, cos that's an awful lot of clicks each time it's reset! Anyway just wanted to say these are still going strong and I really like this product)

Brilliant - loud, easy to setup and somehow powered with no batteries!
Firstly let me say I have no idea how this doorbell doesn't use batteries - I'm completely intrigues and mystified by the "self-generating power" thing! However it really does work, although I suspect witchcraft must be involved somewhere alone the line as the only possible solution!Anyway leaving aside the mysteries of how the door part works with no need for mains or batteries, let's look at what you are getting here. Firstly it's dead easy to install - just plug the two receiver parts in where you want in the house. They are paired with the push button part already so it really is a case of plugging them in where you want and you are ready to go. The outdoor push button part comes with post a adhesive pad and screws, so you don't even have to drill a hole for it if you don't want to - doesn't really get much easier than that. There's a choice of 58 different tunes for the bell, as well as 4 different volumes, all set with little buttons on the left hand side of the receiver unit. They do go nice and loud as you'd expect, so you'll have to issues hearing this from another room, plus the fact there's two means you can cover the whole house. There's also a visual indication as they light up blue when it's ringing. There's a claimed range of 150m, although that will drop depending on number of walls etc - what I can tell you is that it covers our house with ease. There is a way to hook up more receivers if you are lucky enough to live somewhere massive where two won't do.Good stuff:Dead easy to set up (no drilling)Two receivers to cover houseNo batteries required (some weird magic going on)Loud (4 volume steps)Loads of different tunesBad stuff:Nothing really, for £20 it's a really easy to fit, loud doorbell.

Loud bell
I am pleased with this doorbell. It only took 5 minutes to put push button outside. It is very loud and has 2 plugins. The instructions are very simple. On the last page it said the push button should not be in the rain or too much sun. Mine is out in the rain and sun in the afternoon. That is the first I knew about that, so that is why I gave it 4 star. I just hope it keeps working.

Good quality load doorbell with no need for battery!
This is great a product . We have had ours for 6months. Still working, unlike previous two wireless door bells. No batteries required ... saves money and environment. Has two ringers..... rings extremely little loudly at highest setting and can be heard throughout 3 story Edwardian property. Was important for me as I am sure I am Partially deaf. The plug-in ringers are quite large though but minimalistic in design
