Autolock Airbrush Kit 30PSI with Compressor, Wireless Airbrush Gun Kit

This is my first airbrush, I bought it as I don't have much room and didn't want to spend loads of money on something I might not get on with. I'll be using it to paint Gunpla, today I had a go at using it with some Vallejo air paint, I thinned it slightly and I mist say I'm very happy with the results of the paint for my very first try, as you can see from the spoons I practiced on. The airbrush is in a good storage box, the airbrush and battery is lighter than it looks, so easy to work with and the battery is the right size to hold the gun comfortably, the noise level is low and it all seems good quality. It was easy enough to clean between using different paints and the nozzle is easily cleaned. All in all I think it is worth it and I look forward to painting some models 😀

This is ideal for painting models. Not so good with a varnish, you have to thin it quite a bit but bit is perfect for its intended purpose! We are beginners too so very easy to set up and use.

Looks like a sturdy product and came with usefull accessories. It was fully charged and worked with water, straight out of the box (just to test it). Seems.perfect for what I need which is scale modelling.

Was very excited to use this and it just doesn’t work, doesn’t matter how much you change the consistency of the paints, even with army painter air paint and multiple different mixture of the official medium it has two modes, water gun or nothing at all, and for the 5 minutes it occasionally decides to work properly it’s great, until it decides to randomly switch back and throw wet paint at the work you’ve just done, this product shouldn’t be for sale, if you’re buying an airbrush buy one with a proper compressor and certainly don’t get it from this company, complete waste of money

Edit: Bought a second one of these purely for base coating and zenithal however the quality of the second one has gone through the floor. now a complete waste of money will be returning. I certainly wouldn't recommend this for an experienced airbrusher but for a first step into the hobby, or just for doing base coats on miniatures it's pretty good.

I have had this handheld airbrush since November 7 last year but I’ve only recently used it for the first time this month (August 2024) it worked fine the first time I used it to spray the whole of a boat. I cleaned it all out with airbrush cleaner despite this no longer sprays. The compressor works fine but despite cleaning it several times with Everest cleaner refuses to spray at all. I am not happy with this. I feel it should work more than once. It is now not fit for purpose but I am unable to contact the seller for a refund or replacement.

My son wants this for Christmas as he is mad on warhammer figures and painting them. This is a smart bit of kit

I originally purchased this Autolock model METU-30S portable airbrush to apply highly thinned acrylic paints for shading and tinting effects on the scenery I'm constructing for my model railroad layout. The nominal 20psi working pressure is perfectly adequate for the thinned washes of high quality (e.g., Badger, Grumbacher) hobby and artist acrylic paints I use for highlighting effects on scenery. The work involves gradually building up the coats for a delicate transition of color and tone over relatively small areas of scenery one at a time. The thinness of the acrylic washes, gentle spray pattern and the long running time of the METU-30S compressor are perfect for this work which requires me to repeatedly step back and look at the effects I am achieving while I'm spending 20-30 minutes working on several feet of scenery. I contacted Autolock to see if I could purchase a larger capacity paint cup because I was having to refill my existing paint cup during each session and well before the METU-30S compressor ran out of battery charge. Corresponding with them it was suggested I take a look at their newer, upgraded version of this portable airbrush, the METU-60S, which has a sustained working pressure in the range of 30psi. After purchasing the METU-60S and trying it out on my scenery I found it to be the perfect tool for my particular needs. Make no mistake, the METU-30S is and will remain a good and very useful tool for my model railroading hobby... particularly when it comes to applying extremely fine layers of weathering effects on locomotives and rolling stock to make them look realistic. But, when it comes to scenery work I found that the METU-60S is my hands down airbrush of choice. And after all the years of being tethered to stationary compressors, and constantly untangling air hoses and extension cords, as I was lugging my conventional airbrushes around the layout to do fine scenery work, I REALLY appreciate the freedom of using both of my Autolock portable airbrushes! I have used this type of airbrush for over 2 years now and I have bought a bunch of different ones that are kind of like this one. All the other no-brand name airbrushes broke in some way or another. This one I have used now for half a year and so far so good. I like all the features on this one... like it starts up as soon as you press down the spray lever and spits out more air as you pull back the lever. Charging it also has been good with the light indicator on the bottom. I also like that everything is metal. I had plastic versions and they all broke.

Hola, el primer día que lo use iba perfecto! Lo limpio con los productos específicos y cepillitos, lo monto y ya no me funciona! Después de muchos tutorial es de todo lo que podría ser y decidida a devolverlo me doy cuenta que una de las gomitas al limpiarlo se había quedado enroscada en el sepillo, casi invisible. La gomita es de la coronita de la boquilla. Os lo dejo escrito por si a alguien más le pasa una vez puesta funciona perfocto como al principio

Really poor airbrush. I only used it 3 times and it started falling to bits including not sucking through the paint. Cleaned it out and still wouldn't work. Very unhappy. Tried to return it. Poor refund policy as well. Do not buy this item. Everything is shockingly bad!!!!
