Recovered data from extracted drive
When my 3 TB external drive's USB connector failed, I pulled the actual disk drive from the enclosure and plugged it into another spare external enclosure. Although the drive could be seen, a 512/4k sector hack by the broken enclosure made the 2+ TB of data unreadable. I also tried another docking station I owned. Same issue. I could just reformat the drive so I had a blank drive but I wanted that data. The ezDiISK docking station was mentioned elsewhere as being able to deal with the sector hack. It did. Once I had the 512/4k switch in the right position. Data recovered. The docking station saved the day.

Died inside of 2 hours!
Wont power up, worked fine for the first hour or so, but won't power up anymore. Tried different power outlets and computers, with no luck

Well made and works perfectly!
I bought two of these docks, and LOVE them for the most part... Only thing that would make them perfect for me would be an easier to push pushbutton, and a front mounted 512/4K switch. Other than that, they are perfect for my use.I had several Vantec NexStar units, and it's a crap shoot as to wether of not it recognizes my 4TB drives. This dock has no issues at all with my 500 or 4TB drives, and all sizes in between.

I have only had it for 3 days but it is working as advertised. I have used it to transfer 1TB of data without any issues. I love the 512 or 4K sector switch for utilizing older and newer disks. I will write a more detailed review as time progresses.

Saved me a lot of money!
This just saved me somewhere between 700 - 1000 USD as I don't have to send my malfunctiontioning external HDD to a data recovery center. I love it! Very very easy to use. Buy it if you have to revive an external HDD.
