When I saw that this book had 300+ pages, I was already impressed. But my expectations were not met. The first problem I had with the book was the size of the print - it's way too big, as though it was printed for people with poor sight. I like to read small print, as it's easier on the brain (the brain gets tired if the eyes have to 'scan' too much).The book is far too basic for my needs. I've never been on an events planning course, but I've planned my own events in the past - all but one of them successfully - and I wanted to iron out any issues with my planning abilities. This book doesn't fulfil that need, although it did give the occasional useful tip. I actually got more utility out of another events book which was just a bunch of document templates.Having said that, if you've never done events planning before, or you're doing a course and need advice, then this book would probably be a life saver. But if, like me, you have some events planning experience already, then I recommend looking elsewhere. Perhaps I just need to read it from 2 metres away to make that large print look normal?

I was looking for a book with someone who was passionate about planing events, because I wanted my wife to get some advise and true fact about the business and this book was it.
