Flower Scissors Hand Creation F-170 (Orange, 170mm)

I am a curved blade girl. Have been for years. I needed to find something easier on my very achy hands. These are wonderful!!! I have already told so many friends in the event industry that they need to buy a pair. I never thought I could trust floralScissors and was sure that they would be cumbersome, but they really are comfortable and do an excellent job . Now I need to see if they will sharpen after a month of work. If they can’t be sharpened, it is an expensive way to go . I’m holding out for a full review until I have beat them up a bit! So far… I love them.

Love these scissors for flower arranging. So much better than normal scissors. Easy to use, sharp, and small enough not be a nuisance.

Updated review after a few months of use:I have been using these scissors this summer instead of my larger hand-pruning tool. It turns out they are lighter to carry around and can cut much thicker stems than one would imagine! They will even cut mature dock (sorrel) stems, those are tough for weed trimmers....I wear a thin pair of gloves and simply carry these scissors ready to clip. The large covered handles allow me to use both hands even while holding the scissors. Now I leave the larger pruning tool in the box and just take these scissors and a bucket.The bright red handles help me find the tool if I happen to drop it.I have two other types of plant scissors and prefer these. I plan to buy another pair for my daughter who is a professional gardener................................First review upon arrival:I like the size and safety of the somewhat blunt blades. The handles seem very big compared to the blades though. They're a bit cumbersome with bare hands. I imagine that the large handles make it easier while wearing gloves.

Love love the scissors and the violet color. This is my backup pair since I love them so much. The other pair is about a year old and have used them to cut all my flowers etc. and have had no problem. They are sturdy, sharp, and do an excellent job.

I only buy Sakagen for its quality, longevity and sharpness. As long as you take good care of it, it can last many many years.

They cut flower stems like butter, and it feels even therapeutic! The cross section of the stem you've cut is so clean, I'm sure they will make a difference to vase life. An Ikebana teacher told me that this can cut thick woody stems up to 1.5cm across, but go easy for the first months to give them a "run-in" period.
