Nice sign
It's a nice sign, but a little smaller than I thought it would be! That is the reason for the 4 stars!

Shipping in an envelope equals bent signs
SUMMARYThe sign has potential and is worth buying, however, mine arrived bent to heck because it was mailed in a flimsy envelope. Also, the painted-on “rust” looked much worse than the ad photos make them seem. I had to modify my sign to make it worth displaying.DETAILSFirst off (and most importantly), my sign arrived in a flimsy envelope and had several severe bends. It’s not that a “retro” rusted-look sign is supposed to be wonderfully flat, but I had to spend quite a lot of time hammering out the bends and kinks just to make it presentable for its intended purpose. Who would ship a thin-gauge steel, 16-inch-long sign in a foldable envelope??Secondly, though the overall print quality was decent, the faux painted-on rust effect looked worse than the ad photos; very fake. like dead-ended fake hood scoops on modern cars.Fortunately, the sign is not “tin” as advertised, and is instead galvanized steel, which is actually a blessing. So I used a Dremel to grind away the areas of faux rust-looking paint as well as what appeared to be zinc galvanizing. Then I made a mixture of 235 grams of topical hydrogen peroxide, 30 grams of white vinegar, and 5 grams of table salt, and sprayed it onto the freshly ground sign to instantly produce genuine rust (see photos). The end result was something that the guys, even if they closely inspect it, will wonder if it’s a genuine antique, and even my wife approved (“Oh, cute!”).
