OLIGHT Perun 2 Mini Headlamp Rechargeable, 1100 Lumens, Red Light, OD Green

So need to be hands free without a ton of weight on my forehead (5 head at this age). Light is super light weight and the way it charges is awesome. Olight uses magnetic base which is super easy especially if you need to charge it in the dark. My only issue is I’m not in love with the way it mounts into the brain strap. It has a funky plastic strap that holds the light, pretty snug but I feel like it’s not tight enough to the flashlight. Seems to me they should have used the clip that has would clip into the headband mount. Other than that works great.

Wear on my hard hat for outdoor night work. Light weight, very good light, holds a charge for a long time!

Small and compact that puts out a tremendous amount of light

Almost everything about this little light is perfect. ALMOST. The only thing is that unlike every other light in the Olight line, it for some reason forgoes having a USB-C charging port, and only does magnetic. I cant for the life of me figure out why they did that, because it's the only one. Besides that, the size, weight, durability, magnetic attachment, and stability in the headband is 10/10. I love this little light!

My other name brand headlight broke, so I thought I'd give this one a try, and it has become my daily go-to. Not too heavy, and easy to manipulate with gloves. The headband is comfortable for several hour wear, and the light is easy to switch modes quickly when needed. Moonlight mode is perfect for the darkest environments where splash-back or protecting night vision is desired. And when it is turned off and back on, the light returns to be previous setting, even moonlight mode. Redlight mode is easy to access, but is too bright, too wide (for my preferences), and in minimal light too tough to tell that it's on. It feels like there is a large dark area in the middle of the lighting. There is a strong red light ring around the lit center, but the center is not very well lit. There are several modes. - direct on to Red light, switch to red light flashing. Off then on returns to last non-moonlight white setting. - direct on to moonlight. Off then on returns to moonlight. - direct on to low/medium/high (cycle between them; off and on remembers last setting) - Super Bright (aka Turbo) can be accessed once on in white light mode. Off then on returns to high mode. My only wish, it wouldn't change my rating, is that it came with an over-the-center head-strap. This light mount is setup to use the strap, but doesn't come with the headband/mount. I do recommend this light to others. And it uses the standard OLight charger.

I have several of these for work. Head band Is comfortable and seems to be fairly durable. Seems to charge fairly quickly and battery lasts a good amount of time. I’ve used them for about 4 hours on the high setting, not the “turbo” setting. Brightness is pretty good for such a little unit. Has added bonus of a strong magnetic base and a strong clip. Gives the light more options than just a headlamp. Good value for the price.

This light is very bright and so easy to charge. I'm a huge fan of the o light head light.
