This is so beautiful! It looks great in my living room on a shelf and provides wonderful ambient lighting. I love the fact that it has a dimming switch so I can manage how bright it can be. It provides quite a bit of light when turned all the way up. I leave it in in the middle most of time, as I like a milder setting. As I said before, this is beautiful and the light it produces is beautiful as well. I have received numerous compliments from friends about how neat it is to have pieces in a bowl rather than simply one large piece with light. It is a unique piece that I highly recommend!

I bought this for a gift, so only unpackaged it enough to be sure it wasn't broken, which it wasn't. But I didn't tear off the plastic wrap to fully assemble and plug it in. From the outside, it looks lovely. The bowl is very heavy and seems to fit into the wooden base seamlessly. There are plenty of irregularly shaped salt chunks to put inside the bowl. It is all a lovely, natural very light brown or tan color. This piece has a rustic, but also elegant look to it; brings in an element of nature. Hope the recipient of this present likes it!

The salt lamp is beautiful when lit. I like that you can adjust the amount of light with the dimmer switch. This was a gift for my husband, and he's keeping it on in the evenings and early mornings when we are home. The protective metal cage covering the bulb is never quite covered all the way, no matter how you arrange the salt pieces, but don't feel like the average person is going to examine it so closely, that it is a problem.

I got this because I liked the natural salt chunks instead of round ones. You do have to play with the pieces to hide the center light quite a bit. Some smaller pieces would be nice to help fill the gap, but I think the natural salt chunks probably hide the center light better than other types. So it does have that new appliance smell when I first turned it on. It isn’t chemically smelling, more like when you use a blow dryer or flat iron for the first time. After a couple weeks of use I don’t smell anything when turned on now.

The funny thing is, my 4 year old asked Santa for "the coolest lamp in the whole world!" With that in mind we found this lamp. We felt it met the criteria and he does absolutely love it! We can adjust the glow for the perfect nightlight as well. The dial is on the cord but not too far from the lamp. So it's very easy to adjust. This has been a big hut. I love that each rock has it's own little characteristics so it seems like a campfire almost. Very, very cool. Top quality. Heavy and strong. Would highly recommend.

I have bought two of these wonderful lamps, one for my son's bedroom and one for mine. I am absolutely in love with them. I love the design. The lamp on top of the bookcase lit my entire bedroom with a warm dim light. I have been having these lamps for about a month, and I could tell that my allergy has seriously subsided.

The lamp looks beautiful. The dimming function works well. Customer service was incredible, had a light bulb missing, they sent me two right away at no additional cost. Thank you!

This was just a horrible item. The bulb is packed inside the cage in a cardboard box and was extremely hard to remove. It took over an hour to just get the bulb out. I had to tear the cardboard, piece by piece, with needle nose pliers. Finally, in assembling the lamp, the chunks just don't look nice... One last thing, and maybe the most important, is that I can't find a UL (underwriters laboratory) tag anywhere. Maybe that's not important anymore, IDK, and it's not disclosed in their description either. So I guess we purchase at our own risk. Make sure you read the item description carefully.
