Can the case go in the dishwasher?

Yes! Not a problem at all. I'm so surprised to see this question because I just put this in my dishwasher about 5 days ago, just before traveling for the weekend. I put it on the top shelf, opened it so that the inside was facing down, and it did beautifully! It did so well that I put my husband's case (a different manufacturer) in the dishwasher yesterday, and it did just fine too.
