This topcoat is the GOAT for Semi-Cured Gel Nails!I have been using Ohoura Nails on and off for a few years. I was off of them because of the hairline lifts I would get. After 4 days or so my hair would get caught in the polish. I saw that Ohoura came up with this topcoat and I am on day 3 and there is no sign of lift at all happening! I am so curious to see how long these last now!

I love Ohora products. I have used many of these products. Great quality at a great price.

Surprisingly does a lot to provide a subtle polished look on nails (even though the intention is strengthening). Have only used it once so far so can’t tell the strengthening effects so far but I love it even just for the polished look. The bottle and packaging is cute too!

When I found the Ohora nails, I was all in. I figured if they offer a primer that must make them work better, right? So I bought it.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.The day I put this manicure on, one of the clear layers of the nail cracked. I actually took it off and redid the nail within a couple of hours. Over the next few days five more of them popped off, and I glued them back on because I was away from home and didn’t want to walk around with half of my nails bare. The set was brand new out of the box when I applied them.This week, is a different set, but also brand new out of the box with Essie’s Here to Stay base coat (long my favorite). Today’s day five and they haven’t even so much as hinted at lifting, and not a single one has popped off.If you want a base coat that works well with these nails, spend half as much and go get Essie’s Here to Stay.This primer is going straight into the trash. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Elevated the look and durability of my semi-cured Ohora nails. In fact, after 2 weeks 2 popped off and I am having difficulty removing the other 8!

Better than expected

I was tentative, but decided to buy. Goes on smooth and self levels so every application is perfect by the time you cure! Be sure to cure 2-3x otherwise won’t be as hard or resistant. I like it because it helps keep my edges down and the shine and durability increases! Get so many compliments on my nails and they last almost 2 weeks (I work at an office and have moderate lifestyle). So great for the price!Is it absolutely necessary, no.. but does add a nice finish that lasts longer. I can imagine if there was a glossy or glazed donut nail this would keep the glaze on from normal daily wear.

I feel that this product made my nails more brittle. They are chipping on the ends a lot more than ever before. It was slightly concerning to me and then I remembered I used this product for the first time. The snagging on my hair is a little bit less. But I would rather change my UV gel polish that half my nails chipping away.
