This coffee is, quite simply, amazing.
Nothing quite compares to the energising scent and tantalising taste of a well-brewed cup of coffee. From the first moment you open the bag of Colombia Supremo, you are greeted with the irresistible aroma of the freshly roasted beans. Well, obviously these beans are not super freshly roasted, but the sensory experience is almost as satisfying as the coffee itself, signalling the extraordinary taste that awaits you. The beans smell incredible, promising a flavour profile that is indeed delivered upon brewing. The Colombia Supremo is a smooth, medium-roast coffee that encapsulates the very essence of the Colombian coffee tradition. Each cup brewed from these beans is free of bitterness, full of rich flavour, and crowned with a lovely crema that speaks to its high quality. The remarkable taste profile of this coffee is accentuated by delightful notes of rich caramel. This subtle sweetness harmoniously balances the depth of the coffee, creating a complex yet easy-drinking brew. Itโs a unique taste sensation that sets this coffee apart and leaves you longing for the next cup. It's an absolute must-try for coffee connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike. This coffee is, quite simply, amazing.

pleasantly surprised
At ยฃ7.49 for almost 1 kilo of Columbian coffee beans, what's not to like! I usually buy 'fresh' at around ยฃ15+ a bag - and wasn't expecting much at such a budget price. On first inspection, the beans looked fairly oily - so was hesitant to grind in my premium grinder. Used my first batch in a Moccamaster - and was pleasantly surprised at the taste - which had loads of flavour. Not idea when these were roasted (if that matters really) but for the price, it can't be beaten. Haven't tried in my espresso machine - with a much finer grind yet - but doubt it would disappoint. I usually go for a light roast, that have been freshly roasted - but if you like filter coffee, you won't be disappointed.

VERY NICE
Iโm a bit of a coffee snob, but this Colombian Supremo really impressed me. Itโs incredibly smooth with a rich, full-bodied flavor that isnโt overly acidic or bitter. You get those nice subtle notes of chocolate and nuts that you expect from a high-quality medium roast. Itโs become my go-to morning cupโtastes much more expensive than it actually is!

Excellent coffee
Bought the Colombia Supremo. I really like it and will buy again. Lovely flavour and itโs very good value. I grind it quite fine and brew in my Aeropress. Soak the ground coffee in just enough 80C ish water for about 30 seconds, then water up to number 1 or 2 depending on whether used one or two scoops, stir and put plunger in at an angle and pull up. Doing this, either none or very little water gets through. I leave for two or three minutes then plunge and add warm milk foam. Delicious.

Flavourful but a bitter twang!
Full on flavour coffee however it has quite a bitter taste/aftertaste that doesn't add to the pleasure for me. Bought the 1kg so will use the 1kg but it won't be my first "go to" coffee of the day. Expected a smoother experience for the price but it was worth trying going by other reviewers. A nice enough coffee especially if you like your espresso with a twang!!

Excellent everyday bean.
Having previously purchased the Rainforest blend from Costco I wanted to try another bean for the everyday. I drink two or three coffees a day so after a nice tasting coffee that's good value for money. I don't usual drink milk so like a stronger tasting bean. I have previously found the Rainforest blend to have quite oily beans, and were a little bitter for my taste, however having purchased the Columbian blend yesterday and not a few cups in its lovely. Smells wonderful and smokey, with a taste that reflects that also, it's not too strong, so could be drank black as I do but enough taste to be enjoyed with milk. Good value for money with this sized bag and I don't need to drive to Costco just for a bag of coffee now. Great everyday bean.

Very good, great value
I normally buy Illy beans, pretty expensive but good. Cans are nice but small and I often run out. So I bought a big bag of this stuff (ยฃ9.50 for 900g compared to Illy ยฃ6.50 for 285g so big difference. I was impressed by how nice this coffee turned out to be, quite rich and rounded. I will buy again.

A good balance of quality to cost. But not any more
I also buy this coffee from Costco, I like it. Its not the best coffee in the world, but as a balance of quality to cost its OK. I've probably bought 100's of packets of this stuff over the years. There is no point to review a coffee as there are as many opinions as there are blends and brands. I reviewed the coffee when it was half the price it is now. I still like the coffee, its just doubled in price. In fact, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.

Very dark roast and the taste is as cheap as it's price
Supposed to be a medium roast but it turned out to be more like a French roast. Very dark with lots of oil on the beans. Avoid at all cost if you intend to use a V60 with this Taste is absolutely horrendous if one is used to specialty roasted beans.

We LOVE this coffee-but its the last time we will buy for awhile...
First off, this coffee is excellent. It has perfect strong balance for coffee without the bitterness. its very strong smooth coffee. We have ordered it 48 times in the last few years. But the price has gotten out of control. I appreciate the world getting more expensive, and perhaps I'm not enough of a coffee person to know any better, but its 10$ avg more per pack than when we started to buy it originally and they priced us out of this coffee. I truly hope that those who don't mind this price point, enjoy this coffee. :-)

Smooth, rich flavor
The flavor is smooth and well-balanced, not too acidic and not bitter. It has a clean finish with subtle notes that make it easy to drink black, but it also pairs really nicely with a splash of cream ir milk.

Not Great, not bad. Its fruity and more acidic than their other flavors
My first sf bay coffee was the fogchaser blend and I enjoyed that blends scent and flavor till the last drop. I got the columbian this time as a general fan of columbian full body coffees. This is not a full body coffee to me. It doesn't have an aroma that fills the kitchen or strong flavorful notes. This may be the lightest medium roast they have at least on amzn. It is a fruity acidic blend with a bitter chocolate bite at the end. I would say if you like tropical coffees this may be up your alley but its not something I see myself getting again. I didnt make a weak cup either but I may have to try it with 1/3 more beans to see if that gives me what I'm looking for. Overall its a step up from mass produced brands like maxwell but not as good as their fogchaser flavor for me. I may try their darkest roast next or stick to the one I like already. For fogchaser I didn't need cream and sugar but for this maybe a little sugar isnt a bad thing.
