According to nutrition label a 1 tsp serving has 570 mg. of sodium Directions Dissolve 1 teaspoon Turkey Base in 8 oz. boiling water. For each quart of stock needed, use 1½ tablespoons Turkey Base. I do not know if they have a lower in sodium version for the turkey gravy.

The expiration changes with production but it would be several years after purchase before expiring
