I am a student of Mr. Cichowicz, and have been using his expansion slurs, flow studies, and lyrical studies for 50 years. There is no better approach to development and maintenance for beginners and professionals. Get it!

If you approach this book seriously, you can’t do anything but progress. When I read that the great Don Jacoby emphasized Vincent Cichowicz Flow Studies, that perked my interest even further.

It looks like a heavily slimmed down version of the classical flow studies. Definitely not the Cichowitz book I needed. Don't get this one for your copy of the "real" thing.

Parmi les nombreux cahiers que j'ai pu feuilleter et/ou acquérir, celui-ci est l'un des meilleurs et celui que j'utilise le plus (adulte en 2e année de trompette). Pas une méthode, mais un recueil d'exercices (notes tenues, fluidité, expressivité, articulations) proposés par l'auteur ou par d'autres grands pédagogues de la trompette (Arban). A compléter avec les exercices de flexibilité de Colin pour avoir un recueil complet d'exercices pour l'apprentissage et l'échauffement.
