Nice pictures and good explanations but more suitable for someone in a Church of England setting as it explains infant baptism and some of the phrases said at adult confirmation. Was looking for a simple explanation of water baptism for a born again Christian.

This was purchased for our church, to enable primary age children approaching Baptism to understand what would happen and what was signified. The children responded very positively, with lots of questions and discussion ; a very helpful purchase.

This is a book to read to a child who has been baptised. All the illustrations kin the narrative on the meaning of baptism arfe easy for a child to understand. Enjoyable book to read. Makes a great present.

This book is very nice. The illustrations are beautiful. I am a PCUSA pastor and was looking for something to guide a discussion on baptism (with pictures) with cognitively challenged adults.All the talking points are there -- This is a wonderful discussion starter. But the book does not give a stand-alone presentation of Baptism. It is NOT a story, so it jumps around from point to point. That said -- baptism is not the easiest subject to present in a linear way!This book would work well for guided discussion with young children.
