My kids and I race these a lot and it's become a seasonal thing. The packing up and unpacking to create new tracks and collect cars actually last. The cars and brushes last, the wings will break but that is because we are ruthless with our track and setups. Highly recommend, better than any dumb tablet or lame solo video game on tik-tok. Build memories, collect cars, and thrash em! Family fun for both boys and girls with slot car racing.

Great to get the old track out again. Unfortunately that turned in to a brand new Carrera digital track getting set up. Fun... "sport"?

--- UPDATE --- Well, I got excited about the car itself before giving it a good test on the track. Upon testing, I am afraid to say that this car is not very good. It slides off the track 5x more than any other car I have. I think perhaps the tires are too much like plastic and not enough like rubber. So sad. What is a slot car track without a Porsche? I have two Porsches in real life, so imagine the horror when I realized my slot car track came with two Dodge Vipers. Now, to be fair, the Dodge Vipers are incredibly practical slot car vehicles. They stay on the track quite well. But, just like real life, I sought the prestige of the Porsche name and styling. As soon as the Porsche car arrived I took it to my local slot car mechanic for a full inspection. Trusting in amazons great return policy I thought I should get the car inspected before I put it on the track. My slot car mechanic put it on his little slot car lift and inspected the car inside and out. I don’t know if Porsche was consulted for the manufacturing of this car, but i think they were. The engineering is quite precise. I have not yet figured out how to get inside of this car (it is quite small) so I can’t yet review the ride comfort. The little man inside looks comfortable and happy. My only regret is that I did not buy more of these cars. Now no one can keep up with me on the track and isn’t fun anymore.
