Lower quality of snakeskin than pictured
I purchased this Erhu as the product image showed a snakeskin with a lot of yellow and clearly distinguished scales (apparently these are signs of a good quality snakeskin) but the snakeskin on my Erhu is much more brown and cloudy. I also never received spare strings as advertised. Only positive is that the item arrived much sooner than expected. Overall disappointing.

Erhu, I do
I have never played an Erhu before, nor any stringed instrument, so I can't comment on how this might compare to others on the market.I just fancied having a go.This little beauty was delivered exactly as advertised, in a nice little hard-case. Sellers were really helpful (remember there may be import duties to pay). It was much better build quality than I expected, and very easy to set-up (lots of videos online for this).My neighbours may not be so pleased, but I'm in love with my Erhu and this has been a winning purchase.
