If I still had the box I would return this. If the pot sweats it leaves a metal residue the looks like cheap metal drip. If the metal is leaving residue like this on a paper towel and my counter what is it doing on the inside of the container I really wish I could return this

This thermos is something I have been longing to get. It works so well.. once I make coffee I can pour it into this thermos and it will stay hot for hours..

Returned the first one because it leaked, replacement came in a few days. Going to put some flowers in replacement, it leaks just as bad as the first one. would not recommened this item.

Lid is plastic and just doesn't seem to go with pot. Lid obviously will be prone to breaking. Lid is difficult to screw on, have to get just right to screw on correctly. Pot itself seems to be of good quality.

This pot leaks around the black band near the top of the pot. Every time you pour out of this it leaks.

Update: I haven't used this very often. I pulled it out for company as we were going through lots of coffee. The carafe started leaking around the black ring just below the top of the handle. It did not do that before. It is still a nice carafe, I am not sure what happened to ours. Went from 5 stars to 2.This is a fairly large carafe for holding our coffee hot. We drink a lot and it's nice to put it in this rather than leave the coffee maker on. It does hold it hot for quite a while. The half gallon size is a lot, so we don't use it all the time, but when we need volume it is nice.
