These coasters are as gorgeous as they are practical. The earthenware is beautifully fired with a great texture and matte glaze. Also, the lip on the edge is very smart as it keeps condensation from the glass running over the side of the coaster and getting the table wet anyway.What I also really liked was how carefully the coasters and their rack were packaged as well as the presentation of the carton. It really stands out as an excellent gift that's at that "just right" price.Get 'em while their dry!

Solid ceramic coasters . Love the black with my decor. Perfect for my needs

I'm not sure why it was so difficult to find these on Amazon?? But they are ideal, absorbent (eventually) and are well made, sleek black ceramic coasters- very well made. I use the extra one as a lid to cover my water glass on nightstand overnight in case bugs attracted to the lamp-try to get a sip. Note, they are semi coarse texture, not smooth. But this is good for absorption

The gold is a little bit darker than I expected but I still like it.

Thick paint limits water absorption, can scratch surfaces if slid around due to lack of cork or felt pad on bottom (it is bare stone). Shape of bottom is curved and not conducive to adding your own pad, I tried. Ultimately returned these since they did not meet my needs.

These look even better in person and the quality is great - none of them have chipped or broken in the year I have had them! They can slide a little on smooth surfaces but nothing crazy - would recommend and purchase again.
