The media could not be loaded. We were looking for a camera to install inside of our 40x80 barn during our calving season (March-May). The bldg is not heated so a camera capable to withstand outdoor temperatures (in ND) was necessary. I researched several camera options before deciding on this one. I did not want to purchase a subscription srvc for recordings so the SD card feature was perfect. We were not looking for a camera for security surveillance purposes, instead we use it to monitor cows/heifers we put in the barn who are close to calve. Pixel qlty was important and this being 5mp is very good. It is mounted on a rafter almost center in the barn and it allows us complete rotation. We can see every inch of every corner. The qlty is amazing; we can easily read their eartag and zooming is also helpful. Once you zoom to the farthest pen, the qlty decreases a bit, but it is still good for us. (You can toggle btwn 5mp, HD, or SD.) We did not have issues connecting to our wifi. The barn is not insulated, it is a tinned pole bldg.It has 3 different modes of vision: intelligent vision, full color night vision, or black and white night vision. All are great for any setting but we keep ours to intelligent vision. We do nut use it's motion tracking because of several animals in its view all the time. Overall it is working perfectly for our use and I'm glad I decided on this one. I would definitely recommend this for other barn uses as well as general yard surveillance too. I like the option to turn the lens on or off, so when it's not needed for a period of time we can turn off the lens.When we're done calving we will most likely move it to the front of our house and use it for yard surveillance until the next calving season.

When it first arrived I was having problems setting up the camera and there was a small video glitch every 5 seconds or so. I contacted tech support, they replied quickly and tried hard to solve my issues. They eventually had me update the firmware on the camera and it didn't survive the process :(As soon as I reported that back to tech support, they sent a new camera, without me having to ask, and it arrived in 5 days.The new camera connected easily and I had it up and running in the app in about 5 minutes. It has the same video glitch the first one had, but most people don't even notice it and the picture is very good overall.We got 6 inches of rain the night I mounted it outside and we had to evacuate for a hurricane a week later. The camera worked well during the storms and is still working great.The only complaint I have is that the app was a bit hard to get a handle on. That's mainly due to the translation of instructions and app menu items from chinese to english.It does support ONVIF, it's not on by default, you have to enable it in the app. Once you do, any ONVIF camera software will find it. I use Ispy for my cameras and the only thing extra I had to do was change the RTSP port from the default 554 to 8554, the ONVIF port is 8000, but the software found that on it's own.I will be getting another one of these in the future for the front of the house, I'll update this review if there are changes to the video quality or the app interface.UPDATEI thought I should update this review as the camera has been on 24/7 and has been working without any issues for months now despite heavy rain, high winds, and a couple of hurricane near misses. I only gave it 4 stars because the original camera had to be replaced and I wanted to be sure the new one was working well before updating the review. I can honestly say, it's still working great :)

First, the camera was very easy to install. I did drill a hole through the wall near an existing electrical outlet indoors. It only required a 3/8 inch hole to run the power cord through the wall, and a dab of caulk to seal it.Everything else is wireless, and installation went very smoothly. The picture quality is good 5 megapixel quality - the same as most of the other cameras out there - but I really like the auto tracking function. The auto tracking is not perfectly fluid, meaning it may move up further or down further than necessary, but it does keep the moving object in the video.The only issue I had is false triggering due to shadows from tree branches. It does not have humanoid detection, so it does pick up the movement of other objects. This only happens during windy days when the branches are swaying creating shadows on the area where it is focused.I have lost power a couple of times at my house and the camera came back online as it was set up once the power was restored. All in all I really like this camera at this price point.

We own 2 Dekco outdoor cameras. The product is well made, easy to set up and the app is very intuitive.We had a few questions regarding the tracking feature and I contacted the product service team.Cecilia from the customer support team was very helpful, very responsive and she continued to follow-up to make sure that the camera had the latest firmware and that I understood how the motion tracking function worked. Cecilia is an excellent representation of the quality and service of Dekco.

It seemed to work well for a while, then started acting up and not returning to "home".It was easy to setup and use, but just didn't work correctly all of the time.

I have the 3 mp one that was $39.99 that I bought a couple months ago and really like it and this one was supposed to be a step up a better one 5 mp which is not I got this one to replace the other one for the front and put the previous one in the back not impressed thinking that I am going to send this one back poor picture quality at the least isn't as user friendly either will be putting the 3 mp one back up I did some research also and it said that even though the higher mp is supposed to have better picture quality it does not well you live and learn

The video quality was more than I expected! Its also very easy to use

Great product! Can move and zoom in from my iPhone. Great quality picture and well built.
