I bought this for a gift. I was disappointed at first. It was smaller than I expected. The family member I bought it for loved it. It put’s out a good amount of light. Doesn’t take up much room. I loved that she loved it. When I saw it I loved it too!

I've used it for a couple days now. I love it, sturdy and very attractive. Easy assembly. The different light colors (yellow, white) and that can be dimmed its super to have in any room. I am surprised at how nice it is for the price point.

The lamp is pretty nice, the knob is in a good location, and it was easy to put together. The threads weren't amazing and did try to cross thread a little bit, but they were far better than the threads on the lamp this is replacing, and the bottom weight is very heavy which just seems quality to me.Taking away a star because the most expensive kite shade is the one that was offered to me, and its not the best shade. It blocks a lot of light for sure, but the bulb is still very visible while its on. It's not that big of a deal if the lamp is going to live out of your field of vision, but if it's in the corner of your eye the bright bulb is very noticeable.If I were going to buy this I'd get either the one with the glass or fabric shade personally, but if you really like the jute shade and know it's not going to be in your field of vision while its on, it does look quite nice.

This floor lamp is easy to assemble and is a good height for a seated area like a reading nook. It is well weighted and is not prone to tipping over, and the dimmer switch is of good quality. I'm not worried about breaking it with regular use and it provides good light transitions. The finish on mine fits well with burnished bronze and dark woods. The shape is simple - nothing fancy, and it doesn't detract from a room. It's a functional understatement.It also comes with a special bulb that can alternate between temperatures/colors when cycled off - that is, turning the light off and on quickly will cycle to through diminishing light qualities. It's pretty nice to use later at night when you want to read, but need to cut out the blue light. That said - the lamp itself will work with other, regular bulbs, and the provided bulb will work just the same on other lamps (it's a good addition though). I really like this lamp, and I expect to keep using it for many years to come.

this lamp is gorgeous, streamline, perfect height, stylish shade, easy to turn on, and off the knob for light will increase lighting gradually. The bottom of lamp is weighted, so it doesn't tip over easily, nice length on the cord. it looks beautiful and doesn't take up a lot of space.

Lamp is nice for adding as much light as you want to the room. The shade is fun and whimsical. It is a nice addition to any room.

This lamp is lovely. It’s dimmable with a hemp shade that would look nice in a variety of decor styles. It was easy to out together and is sort of a minimalist style that will fit into a lot of corners. I may use it over a chair in the living room but am also considering putting it in the guest bedroom as a bedside lamp. I’m very happy with this!
