OK TAPE Kinesiology Tape Regular Original Tape 2in x 16.4ft Uncut Roll

I got this because I've been having knee issues due to an effusion. I did not think some fabric tape would do anything, so I went for OK Tape because it was a lot less than the more popular KT Tape. My knee honestly feels much better and more stable when I'm wearing kinesiology tape! I've since tried KT and this brand is actually better. It lasts longer, is way less expensive, and does the exact same thing! This brand frays a little bit around the edges and does leave some residue when removing, but it's not a huge issue for me. OK is pretty strong and gave me little bit of bruising when I removed it too early (like within the first day). Removal is a lot gentler after wearing it for 2-3 days and showers! I've accidentally placed the tape wrong and gotten it stuck to itself, and it still lasted for days after moving the tape. I was a little bit worried I would get a bad reaction because the description says it uses " acrylic glue based medical grade adhesive" and I suspect I may have an acrylate allergy from gel nails, but my skin has not gotten itchy, blisters, etc.

This kinesiology tape feels like good quality. It is elastic, comfortable, and easy to apply. I like that it is made with cotton and moves well with the skin. I haven’t used it for a long time yet, but the material and adhesion seem good so far. Looking forward to trying it during workouts and daily activities.

Initially it wouldn't stay on when I sweat (soaking wet sweat) on pickleball courts. Researched and now I know to clean my shoulder area with rubbing alcohol prior to application. Also know to anchor only to skin, not to other pieces of tape. Also know to apply at least an hour prior to play. Don't skip rubbing tape to activate adhesive! Now it stays on for days, even after showers. Pat dry as instructed. Started using while waiting for doc appointment. Guessed right that problem was trapezoid and scapula. YouTube videos (watch many different ones!) showed me how much to stretch tape and from which direction to pull. When I start PT, I'll get more guidance, but did help relieve pain (about 80%) in the meantime. I play hard - strong serve and drives with a lot of pace. Can deal with some pain but without tape, wasn't able to play my normal. Hurts a bit when I remove because I don't use anything to help take it off and my skin isn't tight due to age. Not enough hurt to stop me!

Good for daily use- Not so good for multiple day use. It is a very comfortable tape that does not cause much irritation when coming off, but because of that it does not stick well through heavy exercise and sweat. This could be the perfect tape for you if you’re looking for something that lasts >32 hours!

Very sticky! Good elastic pull. Smells a little funny, but if you let the roll air out a little while it mostly goes away. Pretty good support. Also good for making your own special band aid or as a way to attach a finger splint if you happen to give yourself mallet finger and need to support it for 10 weeks

Compared to what I originally got from PT, it was pretty disappointing; the fabric was thinner and provided less support and it hurt a lot more to take off. I would probably recommend this for more minor issues.

Within the last year, I started mouth taping at night to help with snoring, but I was shocked at how expensive the products specifically marketed for that are even for just a 30 day supply. After some research, I learned that most of those products are just kinesiology tape, so I decided to give OK Tape a try instead. I’ve been using it solely for mouth taping for several months now, and I’m really impressed. I just cut the tape to my preferred size from the roll, which ends up lasting me so much longer than the mouth tape brands I was buying previously. The adhesion is also excellent, It holds firmly through the night, but I do have to be gentle when removing it in the morning to avoid irritating the delicate skin around my lips. Even so I have not had any signs of skin irritation from this tape during the time I have been using it. One thing I really appreciate is that even if I need to reposition the tape once or twice, it still sticks just as well. Overall, this has been a great, cost-effective alternative to overpriced mouth tape products. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable option for nighttime mouth taping. Update: I have recently found that buying a 2 roll pack lasts me about 5 months even with using it every night. Out of curiosity I did some math, im getting approx. 150 count supply cutting the ok tape into proportionate pieces vs. Most mouth tape brands that only sell 30 count. If I were to purchase the cheapest 30 day supply of mouth tape from another brand (around $10 at the time of writing this) I'd still be paying $50 for the same amount I get from purchasing this 2 pack of ok tape!

This tape works as it says “ok” and for the price can’t be beat. This isn’t the stickiest tape and won’t stay on for days like other brands though it does stay put for whatever activity you need that day. I like that because it isn’t super long wear it is therefore gentler on the skin. Other tapes are sometimes too hard to take off and can irritate the skin, but not thus tape. So glad I found it because I can’t keep tape on for too long and this works for just what I need on long hikes and paddle boarding. Have recommended it countless times.

Good value alternative to KT tape. Stick on reasonable well - will survive sweat and a shower or two if applied about couple hours in advance.
