A refreshing sparkling water with a hint of lemon
Apparently it's a bit of love or hate for Ugly drinks... I fall squarely in the love category. It's a simple fact that the soft drink industry has slowly but surely, over a period of over 100 years, ruined our taste buds. When opening a drinks can we have come to expect a full hit of sugar or one of it's most common three artificial cousins (acesulfame K, aspartame, sucralose). The UK did not put the sugar tax in place for nothing, it's clear that high sugars are bad. The cut off point for tax is 5 grams per 100ml (Coke, Red Bull etc all have about 11 to 12 grams per 100ml). A lot of brands have since lowered their sugar levels to under 5 grams and have topped the rest up with artificial sweeteners (like Lucozade). With much research showing even worse effects of these artificial sweeteners. I have since vowed to only have drinks with less than 5 grams of sugar per 100 ml and ZERO artificial shit! Ugly is an amazing refreshing drink! But if you are expecting a full sugar hit, you will be disappointed. It's a refreshing sparkling water with a hint of lemon! If you are open to try something new and stop our country's reliance on high sugar or artificial sweeteners, then give it a go! It's the future.

Tastes as UGLY as it sounds :(
Unfortunately, it tastes like horse piss and they went all straight into the bin. I understand why you started this endeavour but there is now plenty of alternatives that actually taste BEAUTIFUL. As a business man my advise would be to change the taste of your drinks and less needless packaging! Also, why UGLY? When I first purchased i actually liked the marketing and the fact you called it UGLY was a nice gimmick, however, โmostโ people who have tried your drinks will now know why you named it UGLY, because it tastes just like it sounds. At this point you need to accept most of your reviews and potentially change the name of your drinks brand too and restart. Your packaging, colours and marketing are brilliant though, as you know. If only it tasted good. ๐

Right idea, implementation not great
This is not bad but the taste is not great. Both the normal soft drinks (coke, fanta etc) and the โdietโ versions they all taste sickly sweet, so I was hoping this would be the answer. However it doesnโt taste as good as normal sparking spring water. Maybe they use tap water and, or maybe its just the flavourings. Or maybe I should just stick to water rather than this ...

Really happy to have discovered Ugly Drinks
Really happy to have discovered Ugly Drinks. The lemon & lime fizzes with a refreshing, zingy citrus flavour, and that it has zero calories, all natural flavours means I can glug away without a worry over calories. The branding is fun and lively- it comes in a bright blue box with cheeky tongues, (an homage to the Rolling Stones?) and the cool cans are easy to transport. Overall, this drink left me me feeling sunny, positive, uplifted. Fabulous thing.

"No Sugar No Sweetener No Calories Nothing Artificial" shouldn't mean No Flavour
Unfortunately, with the Ugly Lemon & Lime flavour (I cannot comment on the others), that is exactly what you get. what you're left with is an overpriced can of practically plain sparkling water.

Might as well just buy fizzy water
I really wanted to like this product, but the honest truth is, it tastes just like fizzy water. There is the slightest hint of lemon/lime, but it's so faint that you might as well not bother. It's a shame, especially because when you then realise it's not even made from spring/mineral water, it's just standard (tap?) water, it makes it even worse. My advice for those wanting a sugar/sweetener free fizzy drink: buy cheap sparkling spring water, add the juice of a lime and a lemon and a very small amount of stevia extract powder (it's completely natural and 0 calories) to sweeten. Although it takes a minute or two to prepare, it tastes a whole lot better than this product and for about the same price per drink.

Tastes good and great branding
keep in mind that no sweetener or anything in this. So donโt expect flavour heavy taste. If that was the case, it wouldn't be natural. Which is amazing though. Both helps me to quench my thirst and makes an amazing cocktail mix. I wish these would be available at shops too.
